General Marvel Legends

Thanks. Gonna give this a shot. Wondering if the thicker/heavier plastic with Beast will make this work better or worse than on thinner figures (I've definitely done it on the occasional wonky knee on some of those spindly older Legends female bucks or Pizza Spidey bodies).
In my experience with thicker plastic the trick is to do it multiple times. Once that thicker plastic takes a set, it's going to want to slowly return to that shape again. So over the course of maybe a week, go back and heat it up and cool it down in its correct shape a few times -- even if it doesn't look like it's bending again, just to reinforce 'this is your correct shape' for the plastic again. It can help from finding the piece warping again within two or three months (usually not as badly as the original time, to be fair).

I second this. I like to work a figure with the hot and cold water once a day over a few days and it will rework the "memory". Just takes repetition.

Sometimes I also like to over correct the shape so that when it corrects, it ends up where I wanted it.

I just wanted to stick my (big) nose in here somewhere and mention that I went to two different GameStops today, looking for the Giant-Sized X-men reprint comic.* At the first one, they had the comics but were not eager to be rid of them--I bought a Legends figure and a Falcon Cap figure from the movie and he wouldn't give me the comic because the second figure was not part of the promotion.

At the second store I went, they had the comic, and when I went to look for two Legends figures to purchase, he said, "Yo man, you don't have to buy figures--just take the book for free." I went ahead and bought two figures anyway, because I like to support the store . . . and he handed me a second comic.

Moral of the story: Though all locations ostensibly have the same policy, not all stores are going to deal with you the same way. Keep trying!

*Y'all are probably aware, but if you buy two Marvel Legends figures, you get an exclusive reprint of Giant-Sized X-men #1 from 1975. The deal goes till the 28th, as far as I know.

Dan posted in-hand pics of the FF wave - glad they fixed Sue's position in the box. I do think she was originally coming with Franklin.

They really do look quite nice. Thing doesn't look nearly as small as I thought he would- maybe a forced perspective thing? I'm still a bit curious to see how Reed's stretch arms look in person- we mostly saw them in the glamor shots in the livestream, and a slight close-up of the actual figure, which I assume is a/the prototype.

It does seem like Franklin was a late change. I wonder if he made it to production in any way, and we may see him alongside another figure later- maybe a Herbie? Anyway, can't wait to get them soon. Hopefully only about a month or so.

Based on nothing but rumors, I think we'll see Invisible Sue either with HERBIE and Franklin, or HERBIE and Franklin in their own pack.

THEN again, Hasbro has *really* shied away from doing child actors with the exception of EP 1 Anakin (grandfathered in) and Skeleton Crew. Is Baby Nathan from X-Men '97 the last time we got a kid (not a teen, like Spider-Boy)?

The little Hasbro guy on the corner of the FF box is pretty awesome.

The Bluesky pic is where your seeing this? I only see in box shots. If he is actually smaller we can hope he's used for a proper Kirby Silver Age / Copper Age Thing in the future.

I have no idea what that means.

I'm happy with how the FF figures are looking. I'm just disappointed Silver Surfer isn't painted.
