Fun Monday drop with an unannounced stream! Pleasantly surprised at how much they showed off.

Boomerang is *obviously* the star of the show, but only because we already saw Samson a few days ago. These two are competing for most exciting releases of the year for me.

Cypher looks great, and I am oh so very glad that all the gloom and doom predictions about him and Cannonball being released on the same card were wrong! Here's hoping Sam is on a bigger body. Really stoked to be starting the real New Mutants finally.

Yeah I'm interested to see where the next one goes. I grabbed ROM, Warlock, and Rachel from the first two waves, and I seriously thought about DD, Widow and and Surfer. For my level of purchasing that's a pretty high strike rate. Maybe, maybe, MAYBE this time someone will come with a spinner rack too. I know it was never promised, but c'mon, you gotta. Heck, if they're doing an MJ, might be a great extra accessory for her.

Back in the olden days, Scorpy mainly used his tail as a bludgeon, constantly breaking shit and beating the fuckstuffing out of people. I'm pretty sure he could also squirt acid and nerve gas from the tip.
That move from the 2nd cover above was his signature move and it would hit you like a battering ram. Guaranteed if you received a direct hit you wouldn't poop right for a month!

A spinner rack would be awesome! I actually have one in my mancave that I keep my trades in. Inherited it when a very dear friend passed away last year. He was only 44. His wife was going to sell it and get rid of it but said if I wanted it I could just have it as long as I was going to keep it. It will only leave my possession when I am no longer breathing. Great memories of my youth and of my friend gone too soon.
 
Are Cypher and X-Men '97 Sunspot on the same body?
I'll be buying a second Cypher and do a head swap so they'll be at least three New Mutants with the new yellow uniforms: Doug, Bobby and Illiyana.
