General Marvel Legends

So... am I wrong or is the new tooling for the animated Beast mostly smooth and can then be used for "human" Beast in his garduation and X-Factor costumes? I'll need to get a closer look, but getting the tooling done for the animated line as a pre-emptuve way to get that body into the comic line is a smart way to go about things.

Fingers crossed. Of course we still haven't seen Angel repainted in his X-factor gear or his blue and white suit and no additional tooling was needed for those, so who knows.
It is, but has little "tufts" sculpted on the shoulders and calves. Plus the body is decidedly very animation-styled. Not sure how it would look with other comic figures on the shelf. Same as the 97 Morph body... fits in the the Spider-Verse stuff more than anything else comic-release.

Do you still have the legs and stamina for a snatch an run?

Here's the getaway car:

We'll be in San Francisco before they can even figure out what happened.

Yep! The reviewer lives in MIchigan . It was a the Youtuber A Punk with Toys. Shouted out Ohio and Indiana collectors to start checking. I just came back from ours and no Professor Hulk yet. X-Men '97, Mini Comic wave 2 and current retro card Spidey wave at mine so hopefully soon. I have 3 others I can check in the greater Dayton/Springfield area.

Cypher is one example of why I was kind of hoping for New Mutants to be a multipack. Given his look and his power set, there is no way he was ever going to be an exciting action figure.

That plus the fact that releasing these guys piecemeal just about guarantees their colors won't match.

Doesn't Scorpion have a stinger on his tail?

Traditionally, no, which is why I'm so excited about this figure. I actually didn't care for previous releases because of the stinger, it only works as modern Scorpion. This release is very specifically how he was drawn in the 60s-70s:

I never noticed this before with the 60's-70's version... that's crazy.

He's even using the tail as though it has a stinger in the second cover image? Why was it like this?

I was going to get all huffy about another stream with nothing I wanted, but they pulled it back with Boomerang - that’s a really cool figure and all the better for being completely unleaked. Scorpion looks good too, but I’ve not long traded out my dark green for one in the animated colours, so I’m not sure I want to go back.

I’d have been more tempted by Doom, but the 2 pack with Photon was pretty much already Secret Wars Doom, surely? And I’ll probably bite on Cipher, even though it locks me into getting all the New Mutants.

Still no Mole Man reveal though…

Did you catch Dwight's Zzzax shoutout?? It's not as good as a reveal but still great to hear he's on his mind.

I am actually opposed to nub tail Scorpion and I always have been. The cool thing about a scorpion's tail is that it has a stinger on the end, if you take that off what are we even doing here?

But they’re exclusives, and that pisses me off. Boomerang moreso than Scorpion, I effing hate Wal-Mart. A Wal-Mart exclusive for me just means eBay exclusive. 😡
Several of the recent WM exclusives are still available at retail (Spider-Man '77, Spirit Spider, Quicksilver, Professor X at steep discounts..). I'd put money on Boomerang being pretty easy to get hold of.
