Count me in for this as well. Pick up some stylistic cues from the game, but I don’t want anything that is totally incohesive with the rest of the line. That is my hope too. Ideally they will bring out Cable and Marrow as lead ins to the announcement and the new figures are compatible.
If that's the case, we will see them somewhere. More than likely they will be shown online early tomorrow, and they will be showcased in the livestream. The stream just won't primarily focus on them. Just give us pics and a preorder notice, then off to the main event of MvC@erock supposedly... the FF are going up for preorder everywhere this Friday. I really hope everyone matches Walmart's price because I am so anxious to cancel those blind orders I did.
I mean, after the absolute dud that was the May the 4th Star Wars stream, I don't think they're too pressed about backlash at this point. After the image Hasbro put out, it would be... insane to not reveal the FF figures. To say there would be a significant backlash would be an understatement.
I remember that one well. The cowl fins were insane lol. I'm trying to remember what my default Wolverine was as a kid pre-legends. For the life of me I can't recall. I had the first tiger stripe with the springy claws. Maybe it was the Ninja one... had decent articulation and good claws. I should dig out my old bin and see which ones I had. The Legends releases were such improvements over what I had before.... never looked back lol. My current default is the Love Triangle Wolverine with X-Force claws and I love it a lotCount me in for this as well. I’m happy with my 97 Wolverine, although the ToyBiz Xmen vs SF Wolverine was the first Wolverine I ever got for myself. So it has a special place in my heart. All my prior wolverines were odd costumes that I got as hand me downs from my uncle.
haha what did they do? Just crap reveals? To not show the FF would be... I don't know... false advertising? To basically say "we're finally revealing the FF wave" and then not would a special kind of outrage, I thinkI mean, after the absolute dud that was the May the 4th Star Wars stream, I don't think they're too pressed about backlash at this point.![]()
Basically. Everyone's minds were running rampant on what they could possibly show off- we hadn't (and still haven't) seen an updated ROTS Anakin and Obi-Wan, so people were expecting at least that, and all they showed off were re-releases of old figures in the anniversary packaging, and 1 new figure- a clone- that was mostly re-use and, to my knowledge, not that requested anyway. Was a large part of the disappointment fan expectations being blown out of proportion? Sure, but for a livestream that revolves around THE day that the franchise is built around, it seemed a little lackluster.haha what did they do? Just crap reveals? To not show the FF would be... I was more thinking the 2D art, which was a little subtler in some executions if you flip through all the archives. The game select screen for Psylocke is pretty full on Jim Lee (which I’d argue Legends hasn’t fully nailed yet), so if they want to go that way, I wouldn’t complain.
I have a soft spot for Capcom Psylocke as it was my introduction to her (played the game before getting properly into comics). But I very much doubt they’ll do a new T’n’A heavy sculpt to match the sprite. In fact, I’d be surprised if it isn’t just a re-do of existing Betsy with a few accessories.
If they want to go nuts on a game matching sculpt, I’d rather they did Juggernaut, rididulously oversized arms and all.

They reposted the picture of the four figures putting their hands together, I think.I don't know if Hasbro ever explicitly stated they were showing off the FF, did they? Maybe I missed it

To be totally fair, I don't know if Hasbro ever explicitly stated they were showing off the FF, did they? Maybe I missed it. I think we all just figured that, with the timing, and with the wording they used being "team" based, that's what it was. Unless I'm mistaken (and hopefully I am).
