General Marvel Legends

I mean, Iceman was invented first. Surfer came along three years later...

I don't know that Surfer was a rip off of Iceman, but its possible Kirby took some inspiration from Iceman's look smoothed out since he designed them both.
Wow, I thought Surfer came out first.

Mystique is nice. No surprises, just a solid fig. I dig her shade of blue.

edit: don't know what it is about the figure, maybe the way the gloves sort of accentuate the shoulders with the head sculpt, but I'm getting sort of Linda Hamilton Terminator 2 vibes.

I went Black Friday shopping and decided to get the Secret Wars Iceman. I found Jocasta & Scarlet Witch for my Avengers. I also found Matt Murdock from No Way Home at Ollie's for $9.99.

This is probably the first year where I've bought no figures for Black Friday weekend. I remember when the figures that went on sale during this time were greater than half off. When the normal price is near or at $30, getting something on "sale" for $18-$22 doesn't strike me as anything special considering $24.99 being the "new" price wasn't that long ago.

I got Mystique today from Target, and I don't think I was ever warned it even shipped. Still, fun surprise and I really like this figure a lot.

I don't think I bought anything over the Black Friday weekend either. I saw some good deals, but everything I wanted for my collection I already had. I did grab a few discounted Jedi from the Acolyte though about a week before Black Friday on Amazon, for the extra sabers and robes. So, I guess that counts. Amazon was advertising it as Black Friday sales then.

Also, Resilient. Congratulations! That's great news, and I wish you and your spouse a very happy, wonderful life together.
