General Marvel Legends

I thought I was, but I've had Battle-Damaged Spidey in his box for a month. His legs are an issue, but just the damage options they chose just don't look good to me.

More of a General FYI - found Titan Series Mr. Fantastic and Human Torch today in a shipper at Walmart.

And despite her being in the graphics and one of the Fantastic FOUR, there was no sign of or spot for Sue.

Girl toys don't sell.

... never mind that my childhood self was driven to the brink of madness trying to find missing female members of my Marvel & DC teams and would've given anything for a Wasp instead of an eighth Iron Man.

If you believe in it, it will appear.
Oh no you don't.

I just recently sat up all night in a freezing cold pumpkin patch waiting for something called "the great pumpkin" to appear because some stupid kid that was surgically attached to a blanket said it was gonna happen "if I just believed".

I'm not falling for THAT shit again.

@Justice is 100% on point. The holy MMWMAD chooses YOU. Not the other way around.

Aeons ago I was one of the chosen few blessed by the exalted Saint Falcon to actually behold the Toybiz Giant-Man-wave-and-Face-Off-Cube-of-Destiny in the wee hours if the morning yet untouched by the greedy hands of men.

Thus I fell to my knees and wept at the glory.

I only ever found Thor in that display, no one else from, what, a 12 figure wave?? I think I also scored at least one or two Face Off sets somehow. But I remember getting to that cube, and it was practically empty.

Packing unique Giant Man BAF parts in with figure variants was definitely a choice.

I saw living proof that the Walmart display is not AI. You have to drive 3 hours from my house to a Walmart in farm country. FB users tell me that this Walmart also has certain figures on clearance right now. I just so happen to be IN farm country at the moment, I'm about a half hour away. However, family Thanksgiving festivities may keep me from getting there. So close yet so far.

Finding the remains of the Giant Man cube was probably my biggest classic Marvel Legends collecting moment: I know the wave itself had been somewhat picked over and I didn’t complete it that day, BUT the Face-Off sets, variants included, AND the Young Avengers set AND The Monsters set were all there. Kingpin, Strucker, Red Skull, Werewolf by Night, Monster of Frankenstein, Simon Garth: Zombie AND Dracula all at the same time: my mind was BLOWN.

When I was a kid I heard of Iceman first and thought Surfer was a rip off of him. I wasn’t aware of comics as a medium yet.

I mean, Iceman was invented first. Surfer came along three years later...

I don't know that Surfer was a rip off of Iceman, but its possible Kirby took some inspiration from Iceman's look smoothed out since he designed them both.
