General Marvel Legends

Wasn't sure if this belongs in General, Two-Packs, or Gamerverse but just opened the Nick/Frank two-pack. Nothing crazy about it but it's just a fun set. I like the blue on Punisher far more than thought I would (blue Venom all over again!). He's basically the Bushwhacker two-pack Frank with a new head and paint scheme, yeah? I find I like Punisher the most when he's as haggard as possible so that one will probably be my go-to, but I like the blue a lot. (Also Punisher, like Venom and the other symbiotes, is one of those characters whom I buy, regret buying, and then end up not being able to stop messing with the figure once I get him. They really do make fun versions of him on the regular.)

The Nick head sculpt isn't as off-putting as I expected, but I will probably pop the the three-pack head on. The sweater and yoga pants look doesn't look as weird in person as I thought it would, and for some reason those old 70s colors are really speaking to me, the rust and avocado thing. I'm kinda thinking I want to use one of Frank's guns instead of the ones seem to be intended for Nick though. And, probably high praise, I could see this figure finally replacing my "I stuck that Cap wave Nick Fury head onto an Everett Ross suit to be "spy Fury" three years ago and never looked back" as my spymaster Nick Fury who is always on my desk.

Is this 100% the same Punisher body? The Fury 2 pack looks bulkier and more defined, especially the arms.

Same, except it was a spare Chameleon suited body for my Spy Nick.

To be fair, Nick was head-swapped onto several bodies before I settled on Ross, and if this version hadn't come out I was thinking about picking up a cheap MCU Matt Murdock for the newer less gummy legs and arms for him. That old Nick head sculpt is still my favorite of the options.

I'm holding both Punishers in-hand right now and it is so weird - they look like the exact same body, but the black vs. blue is almost like an optical illusion - blue LOOKS bulkier, but the chest, waist, legs, arms... they all match up. And yet holding them in hand the black suit FEELS smaller.

I'm kind of getting anxious for December's Fan stream. Desperately waiting to see Secret Wars wave two revealed. When it is, it better have the new Super poseable Daredevil in just plain old red (no shading or anything odd).
I think a black seem on the front of his boots is pretty likely, based on the old Secret Wars figure and how he was drawn in a lot of old comics. They will probably make it too thick like they did with '97 Emma's.

They really need to not screw up a potential single carded classic Daredevil. Or a single carded red/blue Spider-Man on the AF15 body. It's printing money... they wouldn't... jeopardize that... would they?

I continue to have the exact same subjective aesthetic experience.

Jefferson Twilight's vehicle is the Blood Vessel. He drives the Order of the Triad around in it.

All the Blaculas* had better fucking run.

(There is actually only ONE Blacula: the great Prince Mamuwalde, played by absolute legend William Marshall, and he is FUCKING AWESOME)

Both 2pk Punishers are 100% the same body. I swapped all the white parts with all the black parts from each and they’re the exact same body.

Well goooood damn. Am i really gonna buy 2 more 2-packs to do this!? Will Hasbro wait years before releasing a single carded black/white Punisher on this body???

Very nice work.

...You also have a jacketless very accurate Spider-Man Animated Series Punisher.

Am I... buying 2 more of those 2 packs?
