General Marvel Legends

I’ve a greater chance of spotting Santa in my house than my wife knowing or caring what Marvel Legend I’d want for Xmas.
My partner has flat out said "I would buy you stuff like that but the idea of figuring out what you haven't already bought yourself is impossible."

Although she did give me a McFarlane Superpowers vehicle last year as a kind of gag gift and actually killed it with her pick--never would've bought it for myself, love having it in the collection, but also she's never seen me bring a Batwing into the house ever.

My wife has actually come a long way from the days when she used to get Daredevil and the Human Torch mixed up. She actually watches for some figures for me when she makes a Target or Walmart run.

Apropos of nothing, Amazon shipped Silver Surfer and Iceman together and it is kind of hilarious that I'm going to get two monochromatic hairless men who at least look naked if not actually are who both slide around on things but are otherwise COMPLETELY DIFFERENT in the same box later this week.

It's hard to buy hobby related stuff when someone is deep into something, unless you are into it too.

This is the first year my wife has admitted she's running out of "other" gift ideas, and asked for a figure list. Another plug for Legendsverse and their wishlist feature - it even includes the MSRP so she knows not to overpay!

My wife knows better than to buy me figures without asking and being specific!
🤣
She’s done some bangers over the years, like grabbing me big stuff I would never buy on my own like Hot Toys and such.
She’s VERY plugged into the hobby, though: sometimes she sends me news before I’ve seen it!! She’s in instagram and I’m not, so that is helpful. She’s also totally understanding about army building and buying extras of favorites. I know when they finally reveal Marvel Legends Classic Dracula she’ll be like “ohhh ha ha you are gonna own ten of those aren’t you?!? He’s your FAVORITE!!”

I don't want my wife to buy me figures for birthdays or Christmas. I made that mistake once long ago, she bought me a figure second hand that, at the time, commanded a pretty hefty after market price. The figure has aged poorly and since then have had multiple "better" versions, I would never make back what she paid and I'd feel bad selling it because I bugged her about it so much. No.....no, I will no longer ask for action figures as gifts. The industry and my interests are too fluid. I'm more likely to ask for something like a small statue or an omnibus, but 6" figures.....no more.

Jefferson Twilight's vehicle is the Blood Vessel. He drives the Order of the Triad around in it.

I'm kind of getting anxious for December's Fan stream. Desperately waiting to see Secret Wars wave two revealed. When it is, it better have the new Super poseable Daredevil in just plain old red (no shading or anything odd) it can be a lighter red even and classic 70's Falcon just like the original Mattel line. I don't care who else is in it. I bought all of the first wave and will this one too most likely unless some character is completely out of left field.
