I have never had luck finding ANYTHING at Ross. Even when 20 people comment on finding things. Even when visiting multiple stores. Ah grumble, grumble, mutter and fuss.
I can go for another set of Valkyries.
I was a little disappointed when I saw Sarge/Mercer shipped on Saturday. I may have canceled to hold out for sale had I remembered they survived one of my earlier preorder purges. As usual, I like them better in-hand and didn't mind not waiting for a discount. I think Sarge looks kind of dapper wearing the beret with whistle head sculpt and Mercer's gritting teeth sculpt remind me of someone Sarge may have met at Verne Gagne's Barn in the 1970's.
You always have to go with the classic look first, but I almost like this Sarge better.
*I just realized I digressed into thoughts about SGT. Slaughter in the "Sales" thread.
