G.I. Joe Classified Series

He is apparently the final render reveal before the Con. It's been a great week and anything they show at NYCC will be icing (but I'm kinda thinking maybe just name reveals?)
 
Fair play, Big Lob looks good considering it's Big Lob but nah, him (and Hardball, for that matter) just ain't for me. if they ever do the Fridge though, I could be persuaded because he was iconic and we couldn't get him here back in the day so there's always been a bit of an itch there.
 
Big Lob looks great, though the whole supporting cast from the movie were never really my favoites. (Making Chuckles, canonically a guy who never shuts up, a giant silent dude is like, quintessential lost in translation adaptation stuff.) Speaking of which, if we have Big Lob, we gotta get a Chuckles repaint soon right?

Just got armored CC and why do I love this figure so much? He definitely falls into the same category as V4 Snake Eyes - not my favorite version, not the iconic version, but this CC was the one who survived the longest for me as a kid so I have a soft spot for him. (Armored CC, Tiger Force Flint, V4 SE, V2 Rock n Roll... tons of figures whose original versions were lost or destroyed so I have a nostalgic love for their later renditions). Anyway, ACC is very fun to pose, though I wish his neck had better up/down movement. His torso articulation might be the best in the line though! I don't think I have a Classified with this smooth a movement there. He's always been human in this iteration to me so I probably won't use his snaked-out eyes head, but the temptation is there to have this be "dreams of scaled rebellion" CC who is absolutely hallucinating, talking to his iguana, and having serpentine dreams...,

Yeah the cartoon, and to a lesser degree the movie, had some really fun, very memorable moments but still a distant second for me to the comics.

Because he wasn't played with as much? I honestly am not even sure if I like the design or not, I CANNOT see him as CC; he is Fred VII! Heh

I never had original RNR, only the second one with his massive hand-gats! And I would have held out for that version, but the tatted figure with the not-just-green shit really spoke to me as a special forces operator.

Awesome... If there's a way to incorporate this in the new project...
 
A new Chuckles would be nice but I think his head and legs/boots could use a redo. Make him a bit more handsome, make his pants and boots look less military and he would be perfect. As-is he was a really hard sell at the deluxe price, despite coming with some neat accessories and a great beat-up head. In retrospect if I would have known they wouldn't make a new one for 2+ years I would have bit.
