Apparently the sculptor of the Night Viper confirmed the helmet is removable.

I am so stoked for that Night Viper. After several years of Classified, Hasbro is finally starting to really dig through my Top Ten with what look to be fantastic figures.

I just need them to go back and do a proper Ninja Force Storm Shadow. I'm practically begging at this point. Very undignified.

Were the Cobra island figures exclusives?

Now I would love just ONE Haslab figure to be repurposed. Don't even care if it's one on my list, just opening that door is enough for me right now.

Cobra Island were Target exclusives. Some were offered up again later to other retailers, with nothing really changed. Others had their character revisited. I’m not sure what kind of exclusivity deal WM and Target have for their line, but I’m assuming it’s just a timed exclusivity for something like a year or two. But maybe Hasbro figures changing up the character just enough is likely to result in more sales versus a straight up 2nd run.

You’re probably in a lot of luck. Strong indicators point to an arctic HISS happening next year. Maybe to be revealed or put up for preorder this year.

I think the Dragonfly also has a good chance of being reoffered but I’m not sure if it would be in Tiger Force colors. Sure there’s history for it. But TF was also a Target exclusive team which seems to have played its course. Maybe they’ll offer more TF figures at some point, but will they make a $175-200 gamble on a Tiger Fly? Or would something like a desert repaint sell better overall?

Correct, I will not own any Joe vehicles, not even motorcycles, unless they do a Black Hawk of some sort heh. But yeah a lot of the figures included with the haslabs are on my list.

Night Viper!! Yes! Such an awesome design. Always was one of my favorites. Classified Night Viper is looking awesome.

I got some of my other all-time favorites in recently— Desert Scorpion, Slice, and Dice. They look amazing in package! Going to wait until tomorrow to open them all.

Ah yes. I imagine normal versions of Crazlegs and Ripcord will come out. Maybe next year. I think Wild Bill will be released individually but may have more cartoon colors. Wild Weasel and HISS Driver could also be released but down the road a bit. I don’t figures like Glenda or pilot Baroness or the gunner types will be released at retail.

Pilot Baroness will absolutely, 100% be rereleased, just without the pilot bits and probably fewer portraits. She’s an obvious “prepaint” of blue jumpsuit Baroness, the waffle pattern is even sculpted on the shoulders/waist.
Wild Bill will likewise definitely be rereleased, in Sunbow colors and/or the move overt cavalry uniform from Battle Corps.
The specific decos/loadouts will remain exclusives, but those molds will get use. I’m sure we’ll see HISS Drivers rereleased as Rip-It or in other ways, maybe even a wider release of Wild Weasel in different deco.

Yeah that's kinda the only real repaint they did of the HISS guys, but I'll take it if need be. I would like the gunner too but I know I'm a begger here.

And the rattler gunner heads have gotta be reused as well.

No doubt in my mind we'll get a Sunbow WIld Bill. I imagine they have a time frame when they're comfortable releasing stuff that was a previous exclusive and I reckon we're getting close to that for all the boys that came with the Dragonfly. I'd put a re-release of Glenda at like, 5% though. I think they hold one back on purpose.

Okay, it is honestly insane how well Classified has treated me the past week. Slice and Dice; Budo; Mercer (with Sarge accessory); Desert Scorpion; Hawk; and today, the divers. And Flint/Cover GIrl/Retro Tele-Viper last week and the new Bludd before that. I've spent too much money but I'm absolutely in LOVE with everything they released right now. I guess Armored Cobra Commander has already shipped and I THINK I got charged for the Joe checkpoint a few hours ago, and I definitely am getting the AWE Striker in a day or two.

This is stupid. I should be ashamed. But man if this isn't my childhood dream collection all landing in just a few years' time...

And I would love, LOVE, if they either used that body as a base for some other characters OR even introduced some all new characters. Continue the trend of stuff like Wolf Spider. Seriously, I'm into it!

I would love to know that timeframe. I'm perfectly fine waiting. I'll wait five years if I have to for a HISS Driver and another for Wild Weasel if need be.

And I'm okay with that. It would be very cool for them to offer that figure again somehow, but as I've said, Freestyle is my new lady pilot obsession.

And isn't that what collecting is all about for most of us? I have my favorites, and ones I never got to have as a kid. And ones I never was into but now appreciate. I appreciate having some joy and I won't feel guilty about it being toys.
