Still better than Tiger Force.
That’s a “Shoot here for best results” emblem. The green is nothing compared to the reflective safety-yellow Cobra emblem.
I just compared the two, and they're different all around. And I think that lower body is from the HISS pilot body? First time we've seen that reused at all, yeah?
Well shit! I mean that with gratitude.I just compared the two, and they're different all around.
I popped Hawk out of the box today and man, I didn't NEED the missile system, but it's just the right size to be fun to set up on a shelf with Joes all around it. It's fun and benign and doesn't take up an obscene amount of space. I'm happy to have it, even if I don't NEED it.
Hawk's damned near perfect. Except I can't find his knife sheath. Maybe I'm going blind but he might be the first figure we've gotten without a sheath? But the face sculpt is great and he's a perfect modernization of the 013 greenshirt look. I love, LOVE, the General Abernathy figure but old school Hawk is stupidly fun to pose. There's an elegant simplicity about him. Also one of the best helmet fits they've given us so far - I'm always either struggling to get it on or off or it pops off too easily on other figures, but Hawk's helmet fits beautifully.
Anyway, compared to Budo he's very simple but he's just a solid, no-nonsense rendition of the character.
Ha, cheeky Hasbro.Oh, also I couldn't find the knife sheath for Hawk either. Same as Law, I guess he doesn't come with one? Annoying.
That was a prototype. That's not duct tape.
Is that really where it goes? Cos I found the clip from the grease gun doesn't want to fit in there very well, so I might as well...
