G.I. Joe Classified Series

Do Classified figures pop apart with heat at the waist? I want to stick Shipwreck's lower body on Law's upper body for a custom but even after extensive heating, it feels like the joint won't pop and I might break it.
They don't, your best bet would just be to swap the "diaper" piece and legs from each figure

I got the SNAKE, Sarge and Mercer yesterday as well.

SNAKE is fun. As I had shown, I've got the new Major Bludd figure piloting. You do have to cram him in there with some strategic bending of the legs to get the door to close. At first I had the armor using the fists, but come on, this is basically a huge BAT, so I gave him the claw hand and the cannon. I'm not sure why they needed to make it so you need those separate wrist discs to get some of these things to fit. Why not just make the wrist sockets more accessible? Maybe it was a thing from the original? It is a lightweight armor, which is a pleasant surprise. It poses ok, better in the arms than in the legs, but what can be expected from this type of design? It's totally impractical, but fits a whole figure inside. That's fun.

Mercer is dope. I immediately opened my retro Viper to put the angrier head on. It fits with zero modification. I've got him wearing the Viper goggles around his neck, and the sunglasses on, so it echoes the redundancy of the original Viper design (goggles over mask). They have similar builds, though Mercer's arms look a bit bigger. They share legs at least, though I may need to examine more closely. He comes with a nice weapons array, but when these guys don't come with a spot to store the silencers, that's a real peeve.

Slaughter looks to be in better shape than the real life Sarge could ever be. I'm really leaning towards making this a new character with a different head. Not that the Slaughter heads look bad. They look incredible. I love the one with the whistle, and I'll be swapping that onto a standard Slaughter. I prefer the khaki cap on the non-whistle head, over the beret. I would normally give him the baton, but this one looks more combat ready, so he's double fisting those huge rifles.

Desert Scorpion should be arriving this week. It's been an absolute barrage of Hasbro product with more coming by the day.

C'mon, Hasbro. Collab with Danger Girl.

Jesus. I'd love to see the R&D section of the Joe team and see what they DON'T make.

"Just put guns every where...and throw a hammer on it!"

"A hammer?"

"Not just any hammer, a hammer the size of my....well, a big hammer."
It's an escalation of insanity. "Did you see the rolling, drivable table saw Cobra just greenlit? Let's make the hammer thing!"

I would unabashedly pick up Classified Danger Girls. No, that's a lie, I would shamefully, shipped in unmarked packaging, very much buy Danger Girl Classifieds. I think I still have the old figures somewhere, assuming the ravages of time didn't splinter them into dust.

I read "a hammer?" With complete shock. Probably Bradley Whitford.

"Its clearly time to do my hammer idea!" The head of R&D couldn't deny the battle landscape has shifted completely from the realm of his understanding. Maybe it was time to listen to ideas he used to think were irretrievably stupid.
