G.I. Joe Classified Series

I have one POed at BBTS I think, but that Amazon one will be here tomorrow. I don't love the black forearms, they should have just gone with long sleeves. If I don't love the one, I might cancel the extra. I have two firefighters, but I really dig them.

They should be, the swap will be at the neck and the neck joints are basically all interchangeable throughout the line, even when the heads aren’t, though sometimes the necks wind up being long/awkward. The heads themselves will *probably* also be swappable.
I’m gonna do at least one headswap when I get them tomorrow (the battered “unmasked” Big Boa head is totally going on a cop, did one on a Viper and it looks awesome), so I’ll report back. I’m more-or less counting on being able to ultimately have at least 5 different portraits for the cop: unmasked Boa, the included 2 heads, and the Greenshirt heads.
 
I plan to put one of the Rattler Gunner heads on the cop, with the hat on. I know that will make him even scarier looking, but he'd to be a Cobra Cop. My original idea was he'd be Scar-Face, the courier hiding more or less in plain sight while still being tactical-y, but even if I don't do that, a Cobra Cop seems like something that'd do.
 
I wish we got more heads with the cop/firefighter. If the firefighter came with Hispanic & Caucasian, I'd want to get two more. If the cop came with Hispanic & Asian, I'd want two more. Yeah, I have a bunch of bodyless heads in a bin that I could sift through, but then you deal with compatibility issues with the ball joints & skin tones. If they were provided from the get-go, it just would feel more enticing.

That sold me on Dial-Tone too. What a cool little touch that I wasn't expecting. I think he's still my favorite Joe of the year, and it's been a REALLY good year.
 
I'm with the crowd and got a cop coming tomorrow as well. Funnily enough he popped in time to be added to the order I'm already getting with Gamerverse kingpin, so I'll get a crime lord AND a goon in one package! I'm debating 2 cops for dio purposes, but I can't army build everything. might wait on a second for a sale later on if it happens (I think I've gotten the other legacy figures on sale minus the Firefighter who I wanted right away).
