G.I. Joe Classified Series

I can deal with him being shorter than those oversized figures like Gung Ho and Roadblock. But seeing him smaller than Zarana, who's already pretty small, is harsh. However, I'm more receptive to Mainframe being short than I am Leatherneck, for whom it just seems really out of character. It ages Leatherneck, in my mind. While with Mainframe, it makes him seem younger. I do appreciate a little body diversity though.

Sci Fi and Wetsuit look amazing though. I'll be annoyed though when Wetsuit winds up being taller than Leatherneck too.
May be an image of toy

He looks a little taller than Mainframe, but yeah he's probably going to be a lot shorter than Wet Suit.

Is he using Tunnel Rat parts? If I recall, that figure is pretty short too.

Height issues aside, I'm really digging how that '86 crew is filling out. Looked back at my originals, and I had a good number of '86 figures. Looking forward to Iceberg. Really looking forward to a Lifeline announcement.

Related - do you consider the wave 1 Roadblock a good enough representation of his V2 figure? Or does it diverge too much from the look of the original '86 design? To me it's close enough, but I could see them making one that's much closer. If they do, I hope it's pinless.

Good news, they did announce Lifeline too! He'll probably be in the same wave as Night Viper and Hit&Run.

Like Chooch said, I could see them finetuning for a retro version.

Okay, I never pictured Mainframe as being short but I'm all for doing some variations on height and honestly, he's never supposed to be a bruiser - I'm into short king Mainframe, that's a hoot.

And see, that's weird, because every time pre-Hitler, I chose DHL to ship from HobbyLinkJapan from...Japan lol...and they ALWAYS showed up in, no joke, TWO DAYS. FROM JAPAN.

Meanwhile, Pulse ships FedEx from a warehouse within my own state, and it takes a week.
It's so bizarre how these things work out. Yeah, if something shipped from Japan with DHL it like, TELEPORTED to my house but any other carrier took a month. Meanwhile back in the old days Fedex from Pulse would get to me before I got the email shipping notification. (They've slowed down but it's still only like 2-3 days for me.)

Meanwhile UPS is chaos. I've never had a normal experience with UPS deliveries in my area.

Mainframe looks like he'd be able to fit well into proper 1/12th lines. I have him pre-ordered but also have no idea where he'd even go in a display. He looks like he works security in a building more than he fits in with other Joes. Having said all that, he still looks like a great figure. Sci-Fi looks especially cool in that group shot. Still on the fence about Grim Viper.

My filecard for Mainframe has him from Ecuador, coming from their Grupo Especial de Operaciones after training at the National Polytechnic School in Quito. He's essentially the guy in the chair for agents like Helix. So he'll be behind Hawk on the shelf as part of the group at base.
