G.I. Joe Classified Series

Wish there was a way to tag someone at Hasbro who'd both give a shit AND be able to do something about this. I truly think public-facing teams for Classified, Marvel, etc. would fix it if they could, but all the power to deal with Walmart is so much further up the chain. And Walmart cannot be shamed. They're incapable of feeling shame. (And we could vote with our wallets, but who really wants to protest and NOT get some exclusive on the 10% chance they actually fill it?)
No one at Hasbro cares, because no one at Hasbro actually has any power to do anything about it. And almost none of them would even risk bringing it up.

Alternately, I'd love to see them re-release stuff in Classified size like the Watchtower, Machine Gun or Mortar Defense Units... the Checkpoint, Cobra Battle Bunker, all of them seem like they could fit in a box with one supporting figure and then include the little connector pegs to attach them together, too.
I would absolutely love to have all the old mini playsets. Those will make great dio accessories for the shelf. It's one of the reasons I'm so excited about the bivouac despite maybe it not making a ton of sense in deep cold conditions.

Which FB group was this guy giving Ace a hard time in? I have no problem getting banned from some shitty group on a social media platform I use once a year. Let's do this.

Oh Jesus, are Dre and Damien gonna double team this guy?

Yeah, it's not worth bringing it up. I can actually picture the look on Dan's face if you mentioned them canceling Marvel preorders - there'd be sympathy there but what can you do, it's big corporation working with big corporations to make the moneys.

I spent too much time earlier this evening looking at the old playsets and there are SO MANY. And none of them are huge. They could really do these at a price where people would buy multiples. I think the outpost defender was my favorite as a kid, something about the corrugated roof.

And even something like that classic HQ could be something the collector decides how large it is, if they went all modular. What I would love is something you can build up, like the Pit.

Actually I've seen people on Etsy doing 3D printed modular headquarters pieces, they're stealing your action, Hasbro!

They could do the made to order model and include some of the more obnoxious to get Joes- communications console with Breaker, repair center with Clutch, refueling station with Wild Bill, etc. Nothing too complex, wall panels and specific equipment with a deluxe loadout Joe.

That is a fantastic idea, from Hasbro's perspective, heh heh.

But makes total sense. And something like the big cannon on the HQ playset could be made like a howitzer or the HAL or something, so it can stand on its own or be incorporated into this.

Dude, SO many. The Watch tower, missile command, machine gun defense, missile defense, mortar defense, air defense, checkpoint, bunker, rifle range.... so many. And I'd probably buy all of those. Those small dio sets don't get nearly enough attention because Joe is so famous for some of its truly monstrous playsets and vehicles.

I'd also love if they'd do some 'battle gear' sets like they used to have and just give us a bunch of guns and effect parts and all that kind of stuff. Maybe some extra animals?

Animals with no articulation may work in accessory sets, but once they include articulation, like the bigger animals do, that's basically the price of a basic figure these days. I'd be all for extra animals though.

I read that entire exchange. Man that guy was just looking for a fight. There was nothing you said that was disrespectful, cruel or mean spirited towards him. I bet you he thinks he meets so many assholes all day, and you know what they say about that.
Yeah, that guy has some issues, man. Seriously. That might be one of the most ridiculous meltdowns I've ever seen in the online toy community and that is *saying* something.

And that kinda stuff could be pulse exclusives even, if they must. But yeah, more weapons would absolutely sell.
I'm sure they'd be exclusives. A few different toy companies over the years have said that selling retailers on accessory packs is basically a non-starter. That stuff isn't getting into Walmart/Target. So it's either Pulse exclusive or, at the least, 'Fan Channel.'

I was thinking the little stuff, like Freedom or Polly. I'm sure they could toss more stuff like that into what is otherwise just a bunch of weapons they've already made their money on a hundred times over. I'd buy a pack of extra guns (especially ones that only came with one or two figures) and a variant-color Polly. For sure.

I would like to see the PAC RATs offered up in a "figure & pet" package like Scrap Iron and his drone. They could even use it as an excuse for some new characters or army builders.

I could go for some assorted cobras. I never opened the rest of the set besides the actual figure of Serpentor. I know he came with at least one snake (straightened to a spear?) so I could use a few in different positions to scatter around or for Croc Master to wrangle.

I wish they would do weapons or animal packs on Pulse for GI Joe Classifieds. I also wish, much like they do for Star Wars where they sell the army builders in less packaging for a cheaper price (like the Clone and Battle Droid pack,or Stormtrooper and Rebel Soldier pack) they'd do that for GI Joe.

Either a good guy/bad guy builder set for $39.99 like a Viper and a Steel Brigade, or a GI Joe Trooper and a Cobra Trooper.

Or just do 2 packs where both figures in the pack are the same. Like 2 Range Vipers, or 2 Crimson Guards.

Help me army build Hasbro.
