G.I. Joe Classified Series

If anybody has Jaina Solo, her helmet fits over bareness if you wanted to do that slicked back and helmet. Looks scaled to me.

Banzai would give us ANOTHER body for a Street Fighter Classified line. I was born in 88 so Street Fighter were technically my first ever GI Joe figures since the line was kind of stalled out by the time I was of toy-playing age. But I do remember having Banzai as a kid because he looked enough like Vega and I think Vega was part of the second wave of those figures.

All this discussion has me looking through YoJoe at those figures. It’s wild that Vega didn’t come with a claw. I distinctly remember mine having one because I had my dad glue it onto his hand so it wouldn’t keep falling off. But looks like that claw had come with Sagat.

You can still get your Retro release, relax! This one is for us who aren't blind. (I'M TEASING!! But yes, this is for us who don't want that garishness, and the Retros are for those who do, lol)

I was able to visit the biggest Wal-Mart I'd ever seen in my life in Dixon, IL this weekend, not once, but twice (Saturday & Sunday, hoping they'd restocked since Saturday), and they not only didn't have any cool display, nor anything new Hasbro regardless of display, but they also didn't have a single fucking G.I. Joe period. Which wouldn't be unusual for my smaller local ones, but the huge rural ones hours from home have proven to be treasure troves of ALL lines I collect (or WANT to, but can't because everyone's distribution fucking sucks).

Proved me wrong, I guess. 😰

That’s Budo. You had me have to go back and double check because Bushido is one of the post-1987 Joes I’d 100% buy.

Budo was released carded as part of the seventh series (1988). He was also sold in 1989 and discontinued domestically in 1990.

This is getting out of hand, now there are two of them.

I used M. Bison as my big Joe bad for a long time because some kid stole my Commander.
 
My Jada Vega ("M. Bison" for you stupid Americans! 😝) is standing directly behind my Classified Cobra Commander, and directly in front of my Cobra army (well, my custom Fred may be between Bison & the first Trooper, but tomayto/tomahto).

(And hey, I didn't catch the name typo, either, so I'll turn in my own Joe card, too. 😅 )
 
I do want to say that I think the figure and card art betray what Ninja O'Hara could be.

They all look way cooler in the books.

Just so you know... I did get the 'processing soon' e-mail for my Crystal Ball days ago before getting my cancellation notice.... so your'e bot out of the woods until you get the actual 'Your order has shipped' message.
 
The only ARAH figure I have carded is Ninja Force Scarlett. She was cheap and available 🤷. Might start up the collection again if import figures costs get too high.

This cover is one of the images I cite as reasons that a Ninja Force Snake-Eyes in Classified would be an absolute top-tier banger of a figure. The old toy was crap, but the design? Total badass. Love the face-plate with the Batman eyes. This design has never gotten the treatment it deserves.
COME ON CLASSIFIED, GIVE US NINJA FORCE SNAKE-EYES.
