G.I. Joe Classified Series

Got my Heavy Duty open. He is totally a selectable character in a 90's side scroller beat-um-up fighting B.A.T.S of diffent colors (so you know how tough they are), third world dictators in robot suits, and Xenomorphs. His power up move is spinning in a fast moving circle and firing all weapons at once.

My only critique is that i wish all the detachable weapons had hand grips to be solo carried. GridIron should come up with something.

Now that you mention it, that is literally my only complaint about his figure, too. I don't even need grips on ALL the detached weapons, even just one of the guns would've been great. (Stealing a rifle from Steel Brigade for him in case of emergency though.)

I like that Quick Kick so much more than the standard version. And look, he's got a 3DS attached to his vest so he can play Animal Crossing with Grunt!

Playing more with Blowtorch, are the flame effects with him supposed to be so dark? Mine are dark brown/green-toned big time. I wonder if this isn't a hiccup with the new factories, because they look awful compared to Torch's.
 
Blowtorch had his funding cut when he couldn't prove that a good guy with a flamethrower is a net positive for the Joes. On that note, they also had to let go of Barbecue, who previously followed Blowtorch everywhere he went.
 
Barbecue: “Hey . . . hey Blowtorch! Wanna . . . wanna burn that tree??”
Blowtorch: “Uhhh why would I wanna do that, Q?”
Barbecue [twitching in his suit]: “Come—c’mon, man, just do it!! I promise I’ll put it out, Torchy, I swear!”
Blowtorch: “Dude. Didn’t they make you have that private session with Col. Courage about this stuff? . . . are you still following Incinerators around and talking them into lighting stuff up?”
Barbecue: “What? NO! Uh—I haven’t done that in like SIX DAYS man!! GET OFF MY BACK!!”
 
Got heavy duty from Pulse today. He’s one of my favorite kind of figures. The ones you order to have a full set but don’t think much of, but then in person blows you away. His rig with all of the guns is pure hand candy. Much better than any of the renders or shots could show. He’s one you need to play around with in hand to really appreciate. He and Metal Head are destined for a crazy head to head. Can’t help but see Terry Crews in the sculpt and honestly he’d be my first choice for HD or Roadblock in the next live action GI Joe. He could balance the ridiculous with being legitimately someone you could see being scary because of his size but a softy at heart. He could pull of rhymes too! :LOL:

Dial Tone finally shipped from Pulse today. Was really starting to worry about him but Pulse maintains their perfect track record, which they should being the official Hasbro store.
