Fo'real, Crews is Roadblock. He's got the size, can pull off the seriousness, but more importantly would be perfect for that right amount of ridiculousness that Joe has. Get to it Hasbro.

Right, the only issue I have with HD is the hair. And the Roadblock I have is the Tiger Force one, but he sorta looks like Delroy Lindo to me and I wouldn't trade that for almost anything.

I've been messing around with Beachhead a bit lately for no particular reason and was having that exact same thought. What IS this. Is it a dildo? Is it a rocket? Is it some kind of communications relay? Is it a lipstick tube like Boba Fett carries around? If knowing is half the battle, Hasbro, let us know!

Welp, now I can't not see Delroy in that figure and I like him even more now.

And yeah, Heavy Duty is such a surprise delight of a figure. Bonus points that I've been on a Xenomorphs vs. (EVERYONE) kick with photos lately and he fits into that theme like he was made for it.

Lipstick tube?! What, in his shin pocket? I must half the battle this!!!! but yeah, I wondered if it was a pocket flame thrower when I was a kid. Or maybe, since it has a wire winding around the bottom of his backpack, is it the plunger thingie to set off explosives?

Absolutely. And now I must post my all time favorite Lindo moment.

Yes, he is pretty much a one man xeno killing machine.

I too received Heavy Duty today. I saw that Pulse had it in stock so I placed an order, impatient with Amazon. Of course, Amazon delivered and Pulse hasn’t even shipped yet.

I have gripes. Like Metalhead, I want to tuck his missiles into the launchers but they’re too small and fit loosely. I don’t want to display them blasting out. I wish they would have fit better.

The other gripe is with the headset (not the ear protectors). I can’t find the right angle to get the one side in front of his eye and the other side above his ear. I find that it fits closest under the cap, but doesn’t fit properly. I can’t even fit the ear protectors between the harness and his head. I doubt I’ll use the uncapped head.

There’s a lot of fidgeting with him. I finally get the whole rig on him, then notice his chain is floating awkwardly around his neck. The front of the harness won’t stay clicked shut. I agree about the weapons needing hand grips.

I like the oversized, albeit completely unrealistic, likely fatal for the pilot to use, missile launching rig. It’s fun. But as is, he will not fit in my display. But without it, he’s not particularly exciting. Verdict is out on this one.

Gonna have to return the Pulse copy to Amazon once it shows up. Speaking of, Dial Tone has shipped!

Just got "shipping soon" for Blowtorch and I am now like my dog when I see cheese he cannot reach. GIMME GIMME GIMME

Although at this rate, I'll probably receive Dial Tone, then Blowtorch three or four days later, then one of the others, and I can open a figure every few days for like the next two weeks instead of getting everything all at once.

was looking at different old Blowtorch versions, and besides the yellow and green one that came in a two-pack with croc master, I'd love to see Blowtorch repainted into this color scheme:

Ooh yeah I want TNT for sure. And also the “army green” Blowtorch as well.

Got Blowtorch and the Frag Viper delivered today, and they are both fun as hell. They remind me so much of getting Joes when I was a kid in the 80s. Cool helmets, weird colors, crazy weapons. The Frag Viper's face is too creepy so I'm keeping that wonderfully ridiculous helmet on him in my display, but damn that segmented hose running from his backpack to his jai alai doohickey is so freaking awesome. I'm a sucker for tubes and cables and hoses. Also masks and helmets, which makes Blowtorch an A+ in my book. I love that his headgear is two separate pieces too. So far this has been a superb month for Classified.

SNAKE unboxing popped up in my YouTube stream. The reviewer didn't complain about it, but the Snake looks like he might be a bit fiddly from my viewing of the guy handling of it. I think the detent spacing might be a little wide making the limbs appear a little wiggly, like they're between clicks. That's just me guessing, he didn't really elaborate. One thing I didn't think about until watching his video was the unarticulated claw. An opening/closing claw is a minor detail, but seems like it should/would be a standard for something this size. How many cheapo toys have a working claw? Nothing in the video lessened my anticipation.

Just remembered, a big guy like Destro might be a tight fit, unless the reviewer didn't have him in a proper position.

Even back during the fanstream where Lenny was showing off the SNAKE the legs seemed a bit wobbly. As you said it could be a design issue, but at least the legs and arms had nice satisfying clicks for the ratchets. Probably just means the SNAKE won't be something to "play" with as much as pose and display.

Agree on the claw, especially since the flamethrower has a moving handle. Makes no sense that the claw doesn't open and close.

Definitely can't wait to get this bad boy.

I finally ordered a couple of SAW Vipers that will be here Saturday. I don't usually wait this long to get GI Joe releases but I was kind of put off by the complaints of him being too short. Did a search for comparison pics and landed on the Fwoosh review and he doesn't seem that bad so, trigger pulled. I love the look of him and I don't think the height will be noticeable on the shelf.

Aye, I agree with this 100%. I don't think there's been a single masked, tubed figure I've passed on 😂 Blowtorch's head situation is remarkable; great head sculpt, cool mask with clear lenses, and a neat helmet. Looking forward to my Frag Viper from Pulse, I might order a second if the tubes impress me enough  always loved Frag Viper as a kid, never had any of his gear (garage sale find) so his character makes more sense with weapons. As a kid I just thought he was like a man with a metal Ant head who wore a brown leather jumpsuit.
