I've been messing around with Beachhead a bit lately for no particular reason and was having that exact same thought. What IS this. Is it a dildo? Is it a rocket? Is it some kind of communications relay? Is it a lipstick tube like Boba Fett carries around? If knowing is half the battle, Hasbro, let us know!Right, the only issue I have with HD is the hair. And the Roadblock I have is the Tiger Force one, but he sorta looks like Delroy Lindo to me and I wouldn't trade that for almost anything.
Welp, now I can't not see Delroy in that figure and I like him even more now.Right, the only issue I have with HD is the hair. And the Roadblock I have is the Tiger Force one, but he sorta looks like Delroy Lindo to me and I wouldn't trade that for almost anything.
Lipstick tube?! What, in his shin pocket? I must half the battle this!!!! but yeah, I wondered if it was a pocket flame thrower when I was a kid. Or maybe, since it has a wire winding around the bottom of his backpack, is it the plunger thingie to set off explosives? What IS this. Is it a dildo? Is it a rocket? Absolutely. And now I must post my all time favorite Lindo moment.Welp, now I can't not see Delroy in that figure and I like him even more now.
Yes, he is pretty much a one man xeno killing machine. And yeah, Heavy Duty is such a surprise delight of a figure. Bonus points that I've been on a Xenomorphs vs. (EVERYONE) kick with photos lately and he fits into that theme like he was made for it.
Even back during the fanstream where Lenny was showing off the SNAKE the legs seemed a bit wobbly. As you said it could be a design issue, but at least the legs and arms had nice satisfying clicks for the ratchets. Probably just means the SNAKE won't be something to "play" with as much as pose and display.SNAKE unboxing popped up in my YouTube stream. The reviewer didn't complain about it, but the Snake looks like he might be a bit fiddly from my viewing of the guy handling of it. I think the detent spacing might be a little wide making the limbs appear a little wiggly, like they're between clicks. That's just me guessing, he didn't really elaborate. One thing I didn't think about until watching his video was the unarticulated claw. An opening/closing claw is a minor detail, but seems like it should/would be a standard for something this size. How many cheapo toys have a working claw? Nothing in the video lessened my anticipation
Aye, I agree with this 100%. I don't think there's been a single masked, tubed figure I've passed onI'm a sucker for tubes and cables and hoses. Also masks and helmets, which makes Blowtorch an A+ in my book. I love that his headgear is two separate pieces too. So far this has been a superb month for Classified.
