G.I. Joe Classified Series

I love seeing all the support for original Hawk. I remember when I first read the early issues of G.I. Joe and realized that it was HAWK who was the awesome blond “man of action” field commander of the team, NOT Duke. Weirdly I think the leather-jacket v2 Hawk is my *least* favorite version (still love it though!!), with this being my sentimental #1 look for the character, although Talking Battle Commander Hawk and Jet Pack Hawk are my favorite *toys* of Hawk.
But yeah, this basic Hawk is so loaded-up and tough-looking, he really has that retro-military meets retro-futurism thing going.

Budo is such a fantastic figure and I had never even heard of the character prior to it being announced. As others have mentioned the potential is there for so many different looks that I'm going to have to resist the urge to buy another one. The face sculpts on him are so good! I don't think he's going to leave the table next to my couch for a long time and he's definitely in the running for figure of the year for me.

I may have just spent 20 minutes dissociating trying to decide if my display Budo will be in old school samurai armor or his military-themed armor. He's that good.

Hawk is straight chillin with retro Flint right now. They're having a beer and talking about global warming.

Who was he before he was responsible for all these lunatics and rejects?

See, I read these exact words, but at first my mind went somewhere I'm certain yours didn't. Who was he before he was -responsible- for all these lunatics. The Batman problem. Hawk was such a badass, Rambo-style soldier that he accidentally created Cobra as a response. Hawk is literally responsible for all the lunatics and rejects.... of Cobra. An idea I now kind of love.

Talking Battle Commander Hawk
The 'talking' Hawk is the only ARAH version of Hawk I owned or have ever given a shit about. But I would absolutely buy a Classified of that.

Oooooooo that's fucked up, in a cool way.

Was that the one with the hat and sunglasses?
I realize now I never had a Hawk at all. I always wanted the one with the jacket we have, but only had his helmet from one of those weapon sets heh. When we gonna get some of those?
