G.I. Joe Classified Series: The Chatty Pointless Thread & Performance Art

I'm always bummed when I have to unfollow someone on socials because they're using that AI action figure animator or whatever, but it's an existential crisis in the arts so it's a zero tolerance policy for me. Especially when you've got guys like Rasch doing astoundingly cool stop motion work using real human artistry.

I do miss pre-AI filters, though. I wish they hadn't killed the "silly photo app" industry. Slapping a quick sepia tone filter on it without having to fire up Lightroom myself was fun for action figure pics.
Now I really want a Monkeywrench, thanks to you,
Who else are you refusing to buy? I 'll write up their file card next :)

Really negotiating from a position of strength here, Doctor.
Okay, how about:
Lenny, I convince men of great willpower with VERY SPECIFIC collecting rules and intense opinions on character designs to buy figures they never wanted based on two paragraphs mimicking Larry Hama file cards. You need me. Give me a sword, I'll win this war for you.

Where's @Ru1977 with the 'Perfect' meme from that shitty Aliens movie.

"The real battle in warfare is technological and tactical," said Larry Hama. "Recent advances and innovations have made the 'old way' untenable, so I felt compelled to create two new Joes to counter these deficiencies. 'R.C.,' file name Hector M. Salazar is the new DRONE OPERATOR. He hails from Boyle Heights in East LA, and he is to unmanned remote-control aircraft and land robotics what Roadblock is to the Ma-Deuce. 'DOWN RANGE,' file name Hillevi S. Väisänen, is the SCOUT SNIPER. Daughter of a legendary hunting guide from Redwing, MN, it has been said that she can split a Popsicle™ stick at 200 yards with iron sights on a National Match M-21 in 7.62 NATO."
Awesome, except I don't know how many Hectors I can take! We already have Ramirez and Delgado!

And 200 yards? Maybe eight or even ten guys in the world could have made that shot. No, shit, that was Riggs at a thousand yards back in Laos...
