Musing after today’s reveals and file cards:

There are now *three* distinct types of “walking dead” abominations in Classified:

1) the 1950s-style radiation/fungal/“space spores” infected shamblers with the Mole Rats

2) the 1980s-style chemical/toxic/lab-accident “Return of the Living Dead” creatures of the Toxo-Viper degeneration

3) the enslaved-minion folklore/“real life” actual zombie with a cyberpunk, Stuart Gordon Lovecraft movie twist: the spawn of Synapse (presumably the Frag-Vipers are some of his “children)

That’s really damn cool. And that’s not even counting DIRE Tech monsters.

Yeah, exactly! That’s what I’m saying: their faces seem to resemble the “organic?” parts of Synapse’s face, and they have that weird chip port on their temple that now seems retroactively a part of Synapse’s schtick.

I always like seeing more weird things like that included on chest rigs for these figures. I've seen combat tourniquets, glow sticks, and the Action Soldier diver has the built in floatation device on his gear.

They just need to add the sharpie marker, MRE spoon and bag of Skittles for the full effect.
