When I say “all”, I definitely mean vaguely-Nazi-looking-cyborg Overkill. Although I never liked the “used to be SAW-Viper” part that Devil’s Due added to that design (it was originally just plain Overkill in the Spytroops line): continuity-wise, I feel the (anonymous) SAW-Viper should have stayed dead rather than get a name and a background and “take over” the Overkill identity. I always saw the later “cyborg” models of Overkill as being less like DC’s Cyborg and more like the Terminator: an attempt by Cobra to graft human disguises onto the original Overkill, who I always saw as an Ultron-like one-of-a-kind sentient robot who could control the BATs like drones.
 
I've been enjoying NF Beachhead a lot lately. I think he's very underrated and looks great kitted out with extra gear like NF Falcon's NVGs. I actually like the lattice sweater now. He might sneak into my top ten list ahead of NF Quick Kick, which I did not expect.
 
In other news no one cares about:

I'm super fucking unhappy with the order I made with Pulse. I placed my order on the 11th. I got a 'we shipped your order' notice on the 12th.
Except that was a lie.
What they actually did was call DHL and let them know an item needed to be picked up and shipped. The package did not actually move until the 18th. So, a fucking week after I placed the order. DHL then listed a delivery date of the 24th.
But the package didn't go through customs until the 24th (so FIVE fucking days after they started moving it through their system). Then they updated the delivery date to the 25th. But hold on folks....

DHL doesn't actually complete delivery in Canada, at least not for Pulse shipments or whatever. They hand it off to a shit-garbage company called TForce. TForce changed the delivery date on the 26th, to the 28th (yeah, they ignored the whole 25th thing entirely). Then the shipment never arrived on the 28th, which was yesterday.
BUT, it didn't just 'not arrive.' No sirs. TForce disappeared the entire tracking for this item. The tracking number simply no longer exists. We emailed them immediately when we saw that. Especially since it happened the day the package was supposed to arrive.

Their response was equivalent to a shoulder shrug and a confused gurgling noise. As yet, they have not sent any follow-up on where my package is.

Fuckin' awesome. Even with the revised delivery date I was looking forward to having new Joes over the weekend. Now, I not only don't have them for the weekend, but I don't even know if I'll get them. I fucking hate every delivery company. They are all complete trash (and they know it, and don't care).
 
I sympathise, I'm currently dealing with something similar over Budo. He was due to be delivered with Steeler and Short-Fuze but mysteriously never left the depot, and now it seems they've sent him back to Hasbro. Just bizarre but at least it should get taken care of, which is more than I can say about the Sentinel Peni I ordered that's lost forever as once it arrived in the country, it was passed to the dumbest motherfucker of a courier ever. Wherever they dropped it off, no one knows and no one's taking responsibility for it. Fie!

Must be regional, as DHL does do the handoff for me. T-Force sucks when it does come up, which for me is something like Wal-Mart or Indigo. And Amazon sometimes uses them and some other one if it's a third party seller.

DHL sucks depending on where it comes from, though. Amazon Japan DHL just manifests in a guaranteed 48 hours, weekends included. US orders, two weeks. Hong Kong, take its sweet fn time.

But to add to your delivery company points:

Had a 1500 dollar UPS delivery of a commission. Sig required. Left it at my door, no buzz, while I was out.

Amazon Japan swapped to FedEx on some things (or at least, I never had them alternate this until now). Latest one sat in Alaska for five days, then Memphis for two, then Mississauga, just chilling. How Express.

Last two Purolators I never got the email or text, dude didn't even attempt, let alone leave a note, so I had a call from the local store asking me if I wanted to come in and get it on last day.

And Amazon is now just dumping mass packages in the lobby, right under the four signs saying Don't Do That.
 
I once had UPS lose an ~$8000 box of insulin. They didn't care, and neither did the insurance company amazingly enough.
 
All the shipping companies suck, but DHL is the worst at actually getting the job done in North America (their Japan to US speed feels like they have a Star Trek transporter, makes no sense). UPS is the worst at actually giving a solitary fuck they get the job done (they won't insure packages in my town but give no reason for it. They just don't care.) Fedex is a bit of a mess but at least if someone ships with them I know it'll get here eventually at least around here.

Meanwhile Amazon and Walmart are really, truly evil, but if something is on an Amazon truck I know it'll get to me and Walmart, if they actually decide to send me ANYTHING I buy, usually 12 hours after I'm charged a teenager on a scooter drives by and throws the package on my porch like a rolled up newspaper.

And am I the only one here who wants at least a single spring-loaded launcher in this line? Are they too scary for kids safety standards now? Let's get a Flak Viper with some backpack launchers!

Looking back at these wave, I remember how badly I want that v3 Beach-Head. He'd fit in great with Wolf Spider.
