Claymore was the original bass player for Metallica (not sure if anyone will get that reference, but if you do you know it's a fucking ZINGER).

Honestly, I think this thread is selling me on Claymore as the guy who isn't actually on the Joes squad, he just shows up and tells everybody he knows how to do everything. He's explaining to Sci-Fi how lasers work, giving bad IT advice to Mainframe, fixing Quick Kick's karate form, and telling Cover Girl to smile more.

Claymore: "Hawk personally invited me to the team. Because I'm awesome. But only for super special top secret missions."
Duke: [Looks at Hawk across the room]
Hawk: [mouths the words silently] "I have no idea who that is, I thought you knew him"

I smell the best file card in the series so far coming up hot.

For the record, Claymore was made with Dusty legs, Flint waist and arms, Televiper chest, and Footloose head. He also had Footloose's helmet and Snake Eyes' uzi, which apparently was later changed out for Law's uzi.

And in 2011, they did a Collector's Club Mission Brazil II set with this version:

Made with Snake Eyes torso and waist, Flint arms, Cobra Trooper upper legs, Outback lower legs, and a new head.

Was there a politician or actor in Brazil they were buttering up with this character? The bio is giving self-aggrandizing politician vibes.

The only BTS thing I can find about him is:

While using the head of Footloose, the dark hair and mustache was modeled after Ed Gershowitz, Hasbro's National Account Manager for Toys "R" Us at the time who put the exclusive box set together along with Bob Prupis, Vice President of Boys Toys at Hasbro.
