G.I. Joe Classified One-A-Day Beamish-Style Figure Poll - #266 - The Doctor (Rise of Cobra)

Absolute immediate yes to Sonic Fighters Road Pig. That's the version I had as a kid and it's the one I want in my collection now. With no stupid-as-fuck belly tat, please.

I have no idea how to vote on Cobra Officer. I still don't have any generic Cobra Troopers because Hasbro REFUSES to release a version that isn't tacticool modern instead of ARAH-inspired, which is what I actually want.
So a proper Cobra Officer would be nice if they do it, but I'd waffle a lot on that without them also offering proper Cobra -TROOPERS- for them to lead.

I also yearn for this and I know they are gonna . . . at some point.
They didn’t sculpt the Ramp Rats and Gunner heads not to use them on rank-and-file Cobras. And of COURSE they will give us an ARAH (or even maybe comic or Sunbow) Officer *before* a corresponding Trooper because ha ha ha it’s fucking Hasbro.
 
The original officer is one figure I really like to this day, so I'd pick up a repaint for sure. The one officer I have I've kind of head-canon'ed as a mole called The Operative and he's Chuckles' man on the inside.
 
Day 257 - Firefly - (Retro) (5/27/26)

Rumor Week continues with reissues, speculating what a Retro version of Firefly may look like.

Could've sworn we had a Retro Firefly. I'd support a repaint release though for anyone who missed him last time out.

Not yet. There was the Cobra island one with the crazy eyes and the regular release that I think was plastic free packaging? But a retro one is rumored so he's on the list here. The cartoon colors were darker, so that was my guess.

It’s actually the *toy* colors that were darker, the version we got in the blind-box era was more-or-less Sunbow coloring, which was lighter and generally “friendlier”.
Your mockup up there is solid, though I might go *even* darker, and then use the intense eye-printing in the style of NF Shockwave or Wreckage instead of the bland eyes of the other Firefly. Fix that floppy waist and crappy gun, and we are good to go.IMG_0274.jpegIMG_0273.jpeg

I actually like both of these color versions a LOT. I'm pretty happy with the previous Firefly (I'm still pissed at the bad hips on crazy-eyes one but the other version I got was perfect) but I'd be an easy mark for either the cartoon colors or the darker toy version.

Ha! I was going to reply to you with that same cartoon image, but by the time I hit 'reply' you'd added it already! but yeah, that was what I was going with since the darker grey seems darker to my eye than the Classified figure was. But going as dark as the original figure would be really cool.

but yeah, this image really looks close to the second figure we got.

I dunno... if it's really cool looking, I could see myself going for another Firefly. He was one of my favorites from the comics, and as I've said I never had the grey version of him, so I could see them suckering me into another Firefly.
 
Yeah, I absolutely love the second Classified version (I WANT to love the first one but man I was cursed on those early hips) but I like the sculpt so much that a good repaint would get me again just cos he's one of my favorite villains.
 
Nah. I was never a Firefly fan. The only Firefly fan I care about is the outrageous one with the green and the baseball batters helmet or whateverthefuck. And only because I had that one as a kid and it's one of those figures that came out at PEAK G.I. Joe years for me.
 
Second Classified Firefly is close enough for me. But I'd buy a retro card one (like ANY retro card figure) just to keep as part of the carded collection.
 
Day 258 - Baroness - (Iron Grenadier) (5/28/26)

Another for Rumor Week is the Iron Grenadier version of the Baroness. I couldn't find any art or reference for this, so had to used a customized figure by Stronox, but an IG version of her makes total sense and may be announced in the next few weeks!
