Sure. I’m open to Blackb…er, Zanzibar. I do agree that his “real name” sounds suspiciously fake . His file card doesn’t quite make sense, being recruited into the Dreadnoks, even though none of the others can stand him? His career in the ‘noks wouldn’t last long then. But that’s just the file card. My head cannon doesn’t have to stick to that verbatim.

I also really need to go through the original file cards, what a wild read. "Zanzibar sucks eight linear miles of ass, nobody likes him and his birthday is fuck you. Get me Zanzibar and Thrasher and I'd consider my Dreadnoks team complete.
Don't get me wrong ... I'd happily take others ... but I don't NEED any others.
 
I do think those two are the old school ones I want to complete the ranks and not leave me disappointed. I want Zanya and Heart-Wrencher just to break up the sausage fest though, even though hey were from after my time as a kid.
 
Big yes to Zanzibar. I think I've mentioned before that I couldn't get the Dreadnoks as a kid once my dad declared them stupid or ugly or whatever. I opened up Zanzibar one Christmas and looked over at my parents - both aware of the no 'Noks rule - and my mom said the filecard sold her. I think it was the brushing his teeth with grape soda. Looking back I suspect mom bought it not knowing the rule and then refused to return it when my dad found out.

As for Zanzibar.. I might actually get him. I don't really think of him as a 'Nok so much as a crazy army man pirate. I dunno. It works for me, but it'll depend on how that all comes together as a Classified figure.

This thread DEFINITELY makes me realize I'm very forgiving of even the weirdest designs in the ARAH era and all the comics that came afterward cause my face to do the "did someone just fart" face.

This is basically the best way to put it. It's just like 'why and what is that?' every single time.
 
I feel that's all fair. Some of the post-Marvel stuff can be horrendous, some of it can be cool, and some could be really cool in the hands of the Classified team. But I realize a lot of it is valueless.
 
Day 120a - Storm Rider - (Pursuit of Cobra) (1/10/26)

Final day of Ten Days of Dreadnoks, but not the final Dreadnok just yet. From the Pursuit of Cobra line comes Storm Rider, who may be a Dreadnok only on the weekend.
