First Crystar, then ROM... Who's next?

Two years in a row we've gotten characters with, shall we say unique licensing issues, both introduced at the SDCC panel to great applause.
Will we see something equally awesome this year?

If so:

Who do you want to see?

Who do you think we'll see?

I want to see BUG!

I think we'll see Baron Karza!

I agree that the Micronauts will be next. Marvel’s agreement with Hasbro likely covers them as well since they’ve been releasing trade collections of their run. And since Marvel itself owns Bug, Arcturus Rann, and Marionette, Acroyear and Baron Karza seem primed for a release. And I am 100% there for it.

That's funny, I saw the title of this thread and immediately thought "Micronauts". Alright, carry on!

Sledge Hammer!

Just kidding. (Although I would buy a Legends figure of him. C’mon Hasbro, what do you say?)
Seriously, though, I got to agree with the Micronnauts.
The Micronauts could hold a few waves all by themselves, but I don’t think Hasbro will do that. So the biggest question is: who’s first? I’ll buy whoever it is.
I’d love a Human Fly too, but I don’t think Marvel has the license anymore. I’m really not sure where the licensing is with him anymore.

I've been desperately hoping we get a great Marvel Legends Conan or six, since he was in Savage Avengers. But alas. Seems like every company on earth can make Howard's stuff except Marvel. Or Marvel just isn't interested.

I would be all in on all of the Micronauts but if I was a betting man my money's on Bug being an initial release.

And I'd also be all over a David Rasche Sledge Hammer figure.

I can't think of much else besides Micronauts that would legitimately be released but here are a few more very unlikely options:

Kull would be an instant buy. Give me all of R.E.W.'s creations. Bran Mak Morn, Kull, Dark Agnes, Solomon Kane - even though I have the Mezco.
I fear the hole I would fall into with a Starriors line.

I'm pretty sure there is no licensing issue with Bug. Marvel owns that character outright and can release him in Legends if they so choose. The same is true of Marionette. Baron Karza, Acroyear, Biotron those are owned by Hasbro and would require a deal Commander Rann is an interesting case. I believe in space costume as Galactic Defender belongs to Hasbro, but in modified comic costume and called Commander Rann he belongs to Marvel.

So Bug should be in Legends and doesn't require any special licensing

But it would be really nice if they did strike a deal and gave us a Legends box set with Force Commander Rann, Bug, Acroyear, Marionette and Baron Karza.

Then Hasbro could launch a supplemetary 6 inch micronauts line that includes Acroyear repaints, Karza's horse Andromeda, Force Commander and his horse Oberon, Kronos, Leptos, Membros, Repto, Emperor, Red Falcon, a delixe oversized Biotron and whatever else they wanted to toss in. I would be totally unable to resist, thats for sure

I would absolutely go broke for The Micronauts. Just like I had every issue of Rom so to The Micronauts. Bring them on. I would instantly buy a Human Fly figure just to give to my best friend as he still has every issue of it. Lol.

Like with Rom, I never read any Micronauts growing up - they were a little before my time. However, like Rom, if they start announcing figures I'm going out and buying an Omnibus to read up on them and get excited.

I would also like to second the recommendation for NFL Superpro. What's not to love?

I don’t know enough of these licensed characters, so my vote would be for Conan. One to match Boss Fight’s Red Sonja.

I’m kinda hoping Boss Fight (or anyone in that realm) could do John Carter and Dejah Thoris.
