Diamond Select Toys is Shutting Down

I don't buy Marvel Select, but recognize how good some of their figures look. War Machine and Annihilus looked to be the best ever versions of those characters in my opinion. So that's a shame, but given Dragon Man and the new FF movie, I think Annihilus will become a top priority for a badass Marvel Legend soon.
 
Yesterday, I received the below message from DST customer service about my two outstanding orders from their website. One order was for pre-order items; the other was for in-stock. I don't know what Ad Populum will do with the existing DST products. Apparently they won't be selling them to consumers, at least not from DST's website.

"Hello,

Please be advised that, due to Diamond Select Toys' (DST) closure, outstanding orders for any DST product will not be filled.

Someone on Reddit shared the email they received from EB Games with the list of canceled DST products. Looks like everything EB is selling. Damn. The Muppets aren't on there, though! Those could still be coming, right?!?!?!? I expect bbts and ee will cancel my orders there within the next couple of days.

And there is Annihilus at the bottom, for those still clinging to that door in the frozen sea.

I felt like this would be the case the moment that buyout happened based off conversations I've had with comic shop people, but I know people really wanted those Marvel characters and I really wanted the Lord of the Rings so... I'm just glad we have closure.

Is it just me who finds it a little bit interesting that nothing from Bandai is on there? Hasn’t Diamond been in charge of their distribution after Bluefin shut down some years ago?
