DCAU/Batman Animated

Target has only shipped me three of four of the recent wave (Gray Ghost is on backorder), but I'm actually surprised I'm keeping the Combat Belt Batman figure. There's something about the feel of the cape that makes him incredibly nostalgic, even though I have all the DCD releases. Really like him, especially compared to the stiffer two-toned blue/black "soft" cape.

Mine too. I'd all but forgotten about him, but I'm stoked to get him in hand. I'm still behaving myself when it comes to the Mondo line, but it's a tempting one, for sure.

UGH. Another figure I have the original of, but need the BAF piece.

In fact, of that wave, he was the ONLY figure I already had, and the only BAF piece I'm still missing, because I never saw him. 😒
 
The collectors' section of my Target was restocked yesterday, and from afar, I spotted some BTAS figures. Was really hoping they'd be the Jonah Hex wave, but it was a random restock of the Maxie Zeus wave. I know someone else had mentioned seeing a restock too- I wonder why they're restocking old figures when we can't even find the newer ones. Don't think I ever saw any of the Bruce Wayne wave in stores, and from the looks of it, I won't be seeing the Jonah Hex wave either. Of course, it feels a bit silly to be so invested when I only want the BAFs, but still. Odd all around

I don't really have much appetite for collecting at this size, but I got the Man-Bat as a gift, bought this Clayface with gift cards, and if they ever re-issue the Mr. Freeze I will buy that. Those are my fave Bat-villains since I first saw them on BtAS as a kid.

Could be just old stock that resurfaced at the last toy reset. At a lot of my stores these don’t have a dedicated shelf spot and just get mixed in with funko/NECA stuff. If it gets stuffed in backstock due to lack of space, anything without a shelf tag won’t be worked back out without a special project happening or a collector inquiring.

Sure would be nice if it was new production though. Those last three waves just flew off shelves and never got restocked around here.
 
I just ordered Phantasm from an PopCultcha in Australia. I was already ordering something else from them, which covers the shipping, so it ends up only being a few bucks more than Target. I have Phantasm and H.A.R.D.A.C. on preorder with Target, but they keep postponing my order, and after a few more times, we all know they'll just cancel. I still hope they fill H.A.R.D.A.C., but I'm not holding my breath, and eBay prices are insane.

Very random, but does anyone know of a stand that works well to display the Batwing from this line upright?

Target randomly cancelled my McFarlane animated Poison Ivy and Killer Croc, so away I go to Ebay to pay $50 each for those. Thanks Target, you never fail to let me down!
