D_List characters 3 pack - Your picks

Another possibility for this line could be sprinkling in easy (but wanted) variants of existing figures: Mockingbird and Puck with full pants, Box in blue, Crystal in F4 deco, Morbius in blue, Angel in red with yellow gloves and boots (Angel in blue would probably be better served in the main line), Luke Cage with blue pants, Spider-Woman with full mask (no hair), Tarantula with black mask....*ahem* X-Factor Marvel Girl with yellow boots.

I know these characters have been done before and are better than D-list but maybe they add a little sales boost?

Classic Iron Fist! Packed with a new Misty Knight and Colleen Wing. Or El Aguila and Steel Serpent.

Good idea! Walgreens was a good place for costume variants, but with them gone, this is a good place for easy repaints, as well as easy redos. It might not be all D-List characters, but it's a good place for more obscure costume choices and much needed updates.

Vanisher {80s vol.2 handbook} {Easy to do, just the blank black body, and Prof. X's head. I did that, about 5+ years ago, as a custom. lol
Unus {80s handbook}
Thornn 2 {Feral's sister} {Should be fairly easy, if anything, just a new head, they basically have the rest.}

Exactly. Absolute bare bones. I don’t even know if he meant including extra hands at all. But I am still 100% here for it if it gets us some of the “easy” characters we’ve been suggesting for years.
Which is why the idea would probably die a quick death. The idea of doing a bare bones set with little to no investment would be shit on pretty quick. I don't want this idea if it is basically just the figure and nothing else. Each offering should have at least one accessory.

You also have to remember he said "with old school pricing". How old school we don't know, but not at current pricing for these. I think that would pull a ton of people in.

My expectations for a figure are directly proportional to how much I'm paying.

I'll forgive a bare-bones figure for closer to $20, and complain at closer to $30.

Exactly. He said these would be 3-packs, so we're looking at at least $60 per set. I'm fine with bare bones, no accessories that aren't absolutely critical to the character's identity (a gun for Chemistro, for example), and no swappable hands. If it gets out more unique D-Listers into our collection, all the better.

Windowless packaging?
Yeah I'd be the one that gleefully orders my Firebird, Dr. Druid & Graviton 3-pack and get a rock, fugly ToyBiz Scarlet Mitch and an MCU Eternals figure after some jackhole swaps out the figure I want through an Amazon return.
