Blokees Transformers

I feel like getting Action Soundwave, but mostly to get the TapeBots. Dunno that I want to pay $40 for just them, tho. WAT DO?!?!

I ordered him, the rest of the defenders sets I didn’t have and the devastator connector kit this week from Blokees.

Their shipping kind of sucks but it’s free over $99 so I loaded up on stuff I wanted to “eventually” get just to get over the line lol

All to get that defenders devastator kit lol
 
The combined Defenders Devastator IS fun.

It's the only version of that "character" I have, and I'm perfectly fine with that.
 
I ordered the Beast Wars Defender set for my bday, and will no doubt end up collecting Bruticus once I end up fiddling with CopterWhatshisname and ShuttleOtherGuysName. I dunno what I'll do with mini-Magnus, AstroTrain, Perceptor, and Anti-Rodimus; I'm just here for the critterbots and saw trying to get them singly off ebay added up to more than the case.

God, I hope they get to BW/BM for the Galaxy line.

So my order arrived. It was shipped kindof weird. Basically everything was individually wrapped in brown boxes and they just taped them all together.

And of course they forgot to include the freaking devastator kit and are giving me the runaround about giving me my $5 back.
 
One of the Walmart employees put out two unwrapped cases of Galaxy 6. Those are $1.24 each on Walmart com, so I figured I would see I could price match and buy all nine to guarantee completing the wave. I took it up to the service desk, asked if I could price match, and explained they should be sold individually. She tore apart the box and ripped the pieces further before I had the chance to ask if I could keep it 😆. No big deal, I just think store packaging can be fun. But it took two more people to approve the sale. There was some question if I should be allowed all nine. I guess they like to limit the quantity of price matched items and they might've thought they were collectible cards or something. One of the guys gave the go ahead after a few minutes of looking over the item on .com. They probably wouldn't even have questioned it if I ordered online. It was available for store pickup. I ended up paying just under $12 for nine figures.
 
I'm not a bad person (more or less) but I've constantly tried to figure out how I could get a full sealed case for the price of one figure at Walmart when they're put out like that. Still haven't come up with a way yet.

I've never seen a sealed case at Walmart. No matter how many are on the shelf, they always crack them open. I did try scanning the case barcode, it said, "see associate".

There ARE cameras at those registers, and if it flags you (or security catches you), is it really worth it? I spent 5 years working there, and I can tell you there is ALWAYS someone watching the feed on the registers, and self check in particular. The person standing there will also get alerts if something fishy goes down.

Almost every Walmart will be doing that at some point. It makes doing price changes easier so it happens automatically. That way mark downs happen when they're supposed to, and when there IS a price increase, they won't lose that extras cash.
