Yup, and for those too old and unable to foresee that people would want plastic representations of them to fiddle with it's basically public domain.

Guys guys guys! I stumbled across my old Circus of the Mighty issues today!

The only thing really holding me back from saying it’s for sure Hitchcock is that I don’t know if his likeness is public domain yet. People like Houdini and Poe are since they’re from an earlier time. Which also makes Hitchcock seem less likely to fit in with that established 1800’s timeline. That film clapper is an interesting accessory clue. Not many early directors or actors are super famous that I would expect them in this line. Maybe it’s a subtle nod to Edison? He dabbled with early films.

I'd say what if it was Murnau or Lang but they don't fit with the knife. Hitchcock feels more likely.

It almost feels like a line based loosely off the "Midnight Society" (I think that's what it was called) that was a long chain of twitter posts where it was a back and forth comedic writer's group including guys like King, Lovecraft, Barker, Koontz, etc. Like the whole thing was just talking through these guy's voices and imagining how funny they'd be if they were in a writing group together and how they'd all be catty to each other.

Edison would make sense for this team (more than Hitchcock).

Though I imagine they’d do Tesla for the inventor type instead of Edison

They're basically the shopping list for Tick comic characters the Longbox Heroes line can draw from.

Like the Chainsaw Vigilante,

Mighty Agrippa,

Oedipus,

and the Red Scare!

Does anybody else remember these? Did they appear in the cartoon?
