Man, you made me so sad with that. Decided to go back and look and the very first thing I ever ordered in my account was in 2005, and it was the Toy Biz Marvel Legends Sinister, Omega Red, and Mystique--37.97 grand total.

...subsequent purchases were the SOTA Toys The Thing Kennel Set for 22 bucks, NECA Pirates of the Caribbean wave 2 for 45 bucks, and the original NECA TMNT releases for 54.99.

And again, range of 8.29-10 for shipping.

Son of a bitch, we had it so good.

My partner and I have separate accounts for everything. She stress shops, I buy nerd stuff for the dopamine, we PRETEND we don't notice how many boxes come to the house, and we just make sure the bills are paid. This does not prevent me from running boxes from the front steps to my office when she's not looking just to make it feel less overloading.

It's the damned recycling bin that rats us both out EVERY TIME. Only difference is she has fewer, bigger boxes and I have all those tiny fucking boxes they love to ship single action figures in.

Huh. My first order was only in 2017. I got back into action figure collecting late.

I really loved the DC Icons line. I think that's been my favorite failed DC line so far. And for years I only used BBTS for MOTU, some Mythic Legions, and the occasional import.
