I know I said I wouldn't, but I lied. Scroll past if you're not one of the like... two people that might enjoy this.
You. Guys. I picked up where I left off on the video and it's so good. So we're like 25ish minutes in here. Bob is still whining about how Kenny is playing the victim and trying to 'poke the bear' by releasing a video that Bobby Vala, in his own words in this very video, said he publicly stated he wanted to be released. I mean, I'm not even editorializing that point. He was VERY clear that he was publicly saying 'I want that video to come out.' A video that other people, who were not Kenny, were publicly talking about. So Kenny released it. And Kenny is, apparently, the bad guy in this situation?
Is there anyone out there that's actually siding with Vala on this particular point? Okay, but anyway... the funny part: Mr. Vala then explains that he AGAIN decided to harass the JoeFest guy about Kenny's attendance at the show and this time threatened to not show up if Kenny isn't banned outright. The hilarious part? Apparently dude just said 'okay' and posted a public message that Valaverse would no longer be attending the show.
Fucking DUDE. Imagine trying to swing your dick around like that just to have a bunch of people laugh at it. Bob Vala, Captain Tinydick can't even intimidate the JoeFest guy. Amazing. I have no fucking notes for this Ed guy. I don't know if he's a douchebag or a nice guy or something in between. I don't know his politics or what his favorite toys are. But this one thing he did... I love it. Thank you, Ed. You're a real one.
Let me be clear, though; I believe Vala had every right to make the demand. I mean, he had every right to make the demand the first time, too. A guest/presenter at any Con has the right to tell the people running the Con that they don't want X or Y person/company/product at the event. It's on the event organizer to decide how to handle it. Such as, in this case, telling the arrogant dickhead to stay the fuck home. But Bobby still had the RIGHT to make the demand, just as Ed(?) had the right to respect Vala's demand by announcing he would not be attending. Which is just big time LOL.
What's funny is just how much, even by Bobby's own words, Ed was over Bobby's piss-pants whining bullshit. It's crazy that Bob is telling this incredibly embarrassing story about what a crybaby bitch he is and how nobody cares. I hope in his next video Bobby will tell us all about how he can't satisfy his wife and needs to get the neighbor to do it.
Gets a little interesting a minute or two later here where we get into some accusations that I'm assuming are corroborated later in the video; apparently when JoeFest told Vala he was more than welcome to sit home and sulk like a little baby, Kenny made a video about it and called him some shit? One of those things being 'a terrorist.' I'm interested in the context behind this. That's a broad, WEIRD thing to call someone. I have to assume there's more context here. If Kenny just popped up and said 'Bobby Vala is a terrorist' - then Kenny is a fucking dumbass weirdo for sure, and absolutely said something horrible that he should not have said.
(I SUSPECT this is not the full context, but I'm taking it as it comes. And to be fair, I don't think there are many contexts where that would be an appropriate thing to say.)
Vala then clarifies that it was the statements Kenny made of 'terrorist' and I think something about stealing IP and stealing from customers or something, that precipitated the lawsuit. That's interesting to me. Because Bob made it very clear at the beginning of the video that he threatened to sue Kenny over the t-shirts if Kenny didn't stop wearing them, and then Kenny continued to wear them causing the aforementioned altercation. So... Bobby bitched out and didn't sue the guy over the thing he said he'd sue for, but instead sued him for something else?
So, I mean, it sounds to ME like Bob was looking for any excuse to sue the guy. He was primed for it. Maybe was told by his lawyer that you can't sue someone for wearing a parody t-shirt, you dumb fucking goober, so he just waited for a different opportunity. Anyone would have to admit that threatening to sue and then suing later definitely seems..... premeditated. But that's okay. It doesn't mean Bob didn't have the RIGHT to sue if Kenny, in fact, accused Bobby of being a terrorist or of stealing from people (assuming Bobby didn't steal from anyone - I don't know the context behind that accusation).
However, I'll also still point out, that suing a guy over a video where he says mean and 'slanderous' things is still BIG bitch energy and screams of a guy that desperately needs validation and can't let anything go. And given the existence of this video... that tracks.
According to Vala, Kenny makes the lawsuit seem like it's about memes and shirts. Which, if true, makes Kenny a piece of shit liar. UNLESS Kenny said it all -started- with shirts and memes. Which, according to Bobby, it fucking very much did. I'm giving Kenny more latitutde because I don't want to judge the situation too much by what Bobby says about Kenny - obviously having motive to twist the story. Right now I'm more interested in how badly Bobby comes off in Bobby's own account of events. I imagine once we get to actual -evidence- of the allegations against Kenny, Kenny will probably come off like a complete dirt bag as well. That's my expectation, at least. Interestingly, I'm not sure there's much Bobby could -prove- about Kenny that would absolve Vala from any of the shit I've already gone over. He's been a king-size dipshit with a soft nougat center for 30 minutes of his story so far.
Bobby makes an absolutely ludicrous claim that the judge not dismissing the lawsuit IMMEDIATELY means it wasn't frivolous. Bobby doesn't know how the law works. He should ask his lawyer to explain this to him with crayons. Or Bobby does know and is lying about how the law works to bolster is argument. You be the judge. But it has to be one or the other.
Not surprising to hear Bobby (about 28 minutes) say that 'free speech only goes so far.' It's worth pointing out that the factual statement 'you can sue people for that' does not necessarily imply 'you MUST sue people for that.' It's still a choice for a guy with a small toy company to sue a nobody for making disparaging comments, even if Kenny absolutely said the things Bobby is claiming, within the worst possible context that seems to be implied in Bobby's argument. It STILL doesn't make Bobby look like the good guy. Or even a smart guy. Don't people like Bobby usually call this 'beta male shit?'
Another silly-as-fuck bit of whiny bitchery from the King of Bitch-Energy is about the proposed settlement for the lawsuit. According to Vala, he made an offer to settle for a public apology and then he trails off while taking about some 'monetary things.' He is VERY quick to not specify (at this point in the video) how much MONEY he was demanding, and focuses on his assertion (possibly editorializing) that Kenny was too PROUD to agree to any settlement involving an apology. I mean, first of all, that's not uncommon in defamation suits, actually. It's not uncommon for the defendent to say 'I'll pay you but I don't want to admit any actual wrongdoing.' Also, who cares. Also, we don't know that's why Kenny declined.
Bobby seems hung up on how Kenny didn't counter-offer. But if Bobby's terms were fucking stupid, who could blame him? If Kenny thought he was in the RIGHT, then why would he counter-offer at all? Like, it almost seems like Bobby is just flabbergasted and outraged that Kenny didn't bend to his lawsuit and immediately try to make terms. In other words, Bobby is mad that Kenny didn't just let Bobby win. And that seems to track with the kind of pathetic childishness I've seen from Bobby so far.
Also, I don't know if he meant it this way, but he said 'we can litigate that' in reference to Kenny not wanting to make a public apology. And no, I don't think you can litigate that. I don't think any judge is going to enforce a ruling on a private citizen that they HAVE to make a fucking YouTube video apologizing to someone. Are you kidding me? I HOPE that's not what he fucking meant, because if it is he's even more of an egotistical dipshit than I tend to think he is.
Bobby is being very precious about being 'doxxed.' He is a public figure, head and face of a public-facing company, who uses his real name and has shared his own private details publicly (previous work experience, friends and relatives, etc). Saying that one person privately giving his address to someone else is 'doxxing' is actually kind of insane. Not to say it was a GOOD thing to do, because it wasn't. Giving out someone's address without their express consent is fucking gross and shitty and the guy that did that should get his shit kicked in just for being such a little cunt. But calling it 'doxxing' is ... a leap.
Then he skips out on reading about Kenny and Doxxing Guy basically saying all the shit MOST people seem to be saying about Bobby - that he's a fucking douchebag with a giant ego. Also interesting, and maybe this comes up later, as much as Bobby has a little freak out about his wife and kids living at the house and how his address was given to someone that 'attacks him' - I haven't heard of Kenny DOING anything with that information. He just said basically 'cool, thx homie' and then like.. nothing. So Kenny chose to do nothing with this information. Almost like someone that makes memes about you and wears a goofy parody shirt is not necessarily a violent fucking criminal out to hurt your children. Who would have thought. I think it speaks to Vala's character that he chooses not to make a point about how Kenny did not ask for this information, his response was barely a 'thumbs up,' and then he did nothing with it ever (as far as I can tell).
Bobby does say, AGAIN, that Ryan is to blame for all of this for making the shirt that 'got Kenny into all this.' Once again.. proof that what really is still up Bobby's ass, besides that Analog Toys guy, is a fucking t-shirt. A FUCKING T-SHIRT, you guys. Holy fuck. Can you imagine. Are ANY of you such childish little in-your-feelings bitches that you would be this worked up over someone wearing a shirt that parodies your business name? My god. My. Fucking. God.
Bobby VERY quickly jumps through some images of some Justin guy talking to Kenny about a website that redirects to Kenny's website.. or something? And apparently that is 'cyber-bullying.' Again... this is fucking buzzword bullshit. It's just Bobby trying to 'big up' what was happening into being way worse than it was. It seems like it was incredibly goddamn stupid, but also basically harmless. And probably wouldn't have been happening if Bobby hadn't spent however long being an absolutely insufferable cunt and threatening to SUE people over a t-shirt (which, again, Bobby admitted to doing at the start of the video).
LOL... this one is terrific. An image of said Justin guy saying it'll be funny when Bobby makes a video crying about how some guy said 3 words to him that he didn't like, and Bobby calls this, again, a CYBER ATTACK. My fucking god, Bobby, you precious little crybaby bitch. I really hope Bobby doesn't own any guns, because he's the exact kind of skittish dipshit to shoot his own wife and kids by accident when he hears a squirrel outside his bedroom window and panics that he's under attack.
