    Marvel Toys on Sale

Anybody seeing anything at stores? I've literally been to the nearby Ross every weekday for the past two weeks trying to land some of the Marvel Legends stuff I keep hearing about and the most exciting thing I've seen was a NECA Alf for $17 or so. Ollies has pretty much been a bust, too...

Must be nice. Mine's a normal ship, left Arlington, Texas, yesterday and, believe it or not, is scheduled to arrive here next Friday. I think they're having a Target employee deliver it by bicycle ... And now I'll probably be My Little Ponies when it eventually gets here.

    Four Horsemen Studios Mythic Legions

Wow, I hadn't heard they'd sold out of anything. That $80 price tag sounds even better.

    Hasbro possibly doing Tron?

Who are these people that are taking the time to go through the checkout process for something that is so clearly not happening? I realize it's only a few minutes (although we're talking Hasbro Pulse here ...) but they have to realize this is a spectacular failure. As for advertising, I think...

    Four Horsemen Studios Mythic Legions

He was $55 cash/$60 credit at the show. I don't think $80 is bad at all. Word is BBTS will supposedly have the unsold exclusives for sale at some point, but I'm sure they'll be at some kind of markup. Can't remember what it was for the 2024 sets.

Target comes through! I just checked the website a couple minutes after typing out that post and another small batch of Steeler/Short Fuses were up (what's the deal with that?) and I managed to get an order in with the coupon. I can't count this a win till I see it on my porch, though ... And...

    G.I. Joe Classified Series

Welp, looks like I'll be hanging around Targets the rest of the week. And they better not screw me on the Steeler/Short-Fuze set. I've been holding on to that 25% off coupon specifically for them — and it expires Saturday. A small batch popped up on the website this afternoon but I missed...

    Jakks Pacific Simpsons

I'm soft-collecting the line. If I run into new figures somewhere, I'll grab the ones I want but I'm not putting any effort into tracking these down or paying more than the $13.99 Walmart/Target charge.

    Jakks Pacific Simpsons

Yeah, same around here. I was pretty shocked to see Troy. Walmart seems to be moving figures, but they're replenishing with older waves. I saw the Milhouse wave a week or so ago.

    Jakks Pacific Simpsons

Found a couple of the new little guys at Target yesterday as well. Just Carl and Daredevil Bart. I've only picked up a few of the minis but I had to grab Bart, he's pretty great. I also picked up 5" Troy McClure at a different Target on Friday. So they're circulating in both sizes.

Crystal Ball and Desert Scorpion are both available on Walmart.com right now. You have to look at the other seller options with DS to get the Walmart-proper price.

He's holding Beast so gingerly. He's not so bad.

    G.I. Joe Classified Series

So I received an email from Nerdzoic Toys last night promoting the arrival of a limited number of Vamps. They were sold out by the time I noticed it but I wonder if this is part of a restock. The email doesn't really say, it basically says — Huge surprise: We have Vamps in stock. With a limit of...

    G.I. Joe Toys on Sale

Yeah, it's weird. Out of the six Walmarts near me, I've only seen the oasis at two of them. An oasis-less store just went through a remodel and I thought for sure they'd have one out for the "grand reopening" but nothing. I'm guessing the two stores see higher volume in sales or something. But...

    G.I. Joe Toys on Sale

The Walmart I was at was ruthless (thankfully) — Thunderbolts 2-packs were $20, War Machine/Omega Red $25, JJJ was $10. But the retro carded Star Wars were $20. Checked a closer store with the oasis today and all were still regular price with nothing new on the display.

    G.I. Joe Toys on Sale

Saw one marked the same price at Walmart yesterday. They had recently restocked the Collector's Oasis and a lot of the "old" stuff from when it was initially put out was in the clearance aisle. Was hoping the Stinger would find its way there, too, but no luck.

    General Marvel Legends

I like the more early X-men accurate head sculpt most of all with this new version. Like Popoman said, he was a tough figure to mess around with. I ended up selling the 3-pack version.

    Star Wars Black Series

I just popped the text into a few AI detector sites and it comes back 75-100% AI generated. Not sure I needed to do that with action figures being referred to as time capsules of cinematic storytelling ... Yikes.

Boss Fight Studios 1/12 and EPIC HACKS

Welp, the accessory pack isn't the rip I thought it'd be. $19.99 on BBTS, which seems reasonable. Still, $80 for the figure, coat and extra heads is keeping me from committing.

Boss Fight Studios 1/12 and EPIC HACKS

Norm is right. It's already $60 for the "basic" figure. I can't see the accessory pack being less than $30 and I feel like it's going to be closer to $40. Whatever, I haven't preordered HB yet and it's very likely I never will and will just be happy with what I already have. The note on...

    Fwoosh Toys/Articulated Icons - A Retrospective

Yeah, I thought it was nuts seeing the guys from Four Horsemen, Valaverse, Creative Beast Studio and Fwoosh all within feet of each other. Ramen Toys, JE Russell from Chicken Fried Toys, Harvinger Studios and Mego were there, too. And that whole Glyos section ... Everybody was accessible...

    Fwoosh Toys/Articulated Icons - A Retrospective

I was there too! That was the best convention I've ever attended with so many companies in attendance and the added bonus of the seemingly completely random Arnold Schwarzenegger statue. Love the Columbus area, too. What are the issues bringing it back? It seemed very successful.

Receding hairline is only the half of it. That Grunt/Zap/Grand Slam head was and remains the most unintentional (I assume) fugly sculpt of all time. It's just so bad — and they used it for three figures ...

    G.I. Joe Classified Series

I gotta believe they'll release Grand Slam in silver initially, hopefully with some kind of JUMP launch set. Version 1 and Flash were nearly identical and it wouldn't make much sense to release them close to each other. Maybe they'll release a red pad version Grand Slam in retro (although I'm...
