Four Horsemen Studios Mythic Legions

I hope Otho 2.0 has a helmet this time. Nothing against the original figure, but I always felt his head was too big. A helmet would correct the issue.

On top of the Legacies of Mythoss reveal today and the Graveyard wave in October, we can probably assume they'll reveal another big wave at Legions Con, another Figura Obscura for Xmas, and we have yet to see a new Cosmic Legions wave. That's a lot of pre-order windows to pack into the remaining three and a half months of the year. I wouldn't be surprised if the big wave they reveal at Legions Con is a Cosmic wave.

I'm figuring it almost has to be either zombies or vampires. I'd get some zombies to fill out my Evil Dead display, for sure.
 
I love vampires in general as action figures, but I regret not buying the graveyard skeletons sooner last time because man, the MILEAGE I got for photos and setups out of having a mini-army of generic skeletons that worked together... a four-pack of zombies would be super useful for my setups. And really, zombies and skeletons side by side don't look out of place, they just look like the dead are pissed.
 
I just wish there was an easier/cheaper way of getting multiple bone color skeletons. They made the single release skeleton super limited. And then the 4pk ones are grey and aren't in the uniform bone color they were touting. I'd love for them to make a 4pk of the bone colored skeleton. It would still keep the single-carded one limited, for those who care about such aspects to their collecting.
 
They’re neat, I’ll need to decide if I want upgraded Urzok or to wait over a year to get just Otho though I guess…
 
You couldn't have timed it better if you tried.

With those wonderful new heads, I'm gonna grab at least two Urzokks and just use them as more generic fighters. It's about time we got some really nice orc soldiers.

Pretty happy with the Otho update, too. And I have another face for the Silver Knight! (Otho's face plate's gotta work with that helmet, right?) I also really like the look of the new battle ax.

There's an in-stock sale on Monday but you have to buy the pair. A preorder opens up next Friday that will allow you to buy individually — but you'll have to wait.

My guess is you'll be able to unload Urzokk pretty easily for a bit more than you paid. I doubt these will last long on Monday.
 
As weird as this may sound, I don't think I actually like the new Urzokk better except the improved hands. He just feels heavier/more heavily armored than the original. But man I'm kicking myself right now. I swear Urzokk is the only one of the old school figures I'd had left as a saved search and got one for a reasonable price all things considered before this. Welp, I hope I made the collector selling it's week. Sincerely, I hope he converts that into some new Legions or something.

No, in the stream they said this is a new helmet style and the face plates aren’t compatible with other faces made to this point.

That's annoying... the former faceplates weren't compatible with each other either.
