And now I've got some news. I'm not sure how you guys are going to react to this.
To me this is GREAT news. The best I could possibly get.
Dwight said that there's a figure in the pipeline that he knows I will be real interested in. He said it won't be revealed this weekend, but definitely before the year is out. He says he thought about me the entire time he was designing it. He said can't tell me who it is, but that I will be very, very happy. I said "This figure you're talking about. Did he first appear in Marvel Comics number 1 in August of 1939?" He just smiled and said "I can't tell you that."
Well, c'mon. He has to be talking about this dude.
Who else could it be? I can't think of any other character I've asked for as much as I've asked for this one.
He said the
Torch "mystery figure" has already been green lit and it's in the pipeline so it's a lock. He's assured me it's happening.
He told me that he DOES think about us and our wants when it comes to character selection. He enjoys going to shows and talking to us. He wanted to let us know that our wants are important and they take them into consideration.
And that's why the trading cards are important. Now Dwight and Dan have a physical representation of our most wanted figures.
@hmmberto and
@Beamish , thank you both so much for the cards and the polls. They do make a difference.
I'm buying two
Torches "mystery figures" when they come out. One for my Golden Age shelf and one for my Avengers West Coast team.
I'm not going to be able to sleep tonight. I just know it.
