I absolutely agree!Nunchuk never looks like it's spelled right.
Were you AT ALL tempted to say "regular Joe" or was that immediately too far?regular dude
Never even occurred to me to call him a regular Joe and now I wish I did.I absolutely agree!

I'm gonna sleep on it before I price him online but damnit you made me kinda into this guy even though i never had the figure originally and didn't get the Classified one. I don't know how hard it was to make such a badass out of someone whose name you feel the way you do about, heh, but it was awesome and I love how you're also getting more into Serpentor here.
Ah damn! May have been too much of a wink thoNever even occurred to me to call him a regular Joe and now I wish I did.
I actually almost got him when i started on Classified late in 2024 since I love masked guys... May have to damnit.Nunchuk is one of the very, very few figures in my Classified collection I bought completely on impulse - I had no nostalgia for him at all and I just picked him out up out of an excess of enthusiasm. Now I'm gonna go put him on the shelf.
I love/am so creeped out by this kinda cult shit.they give up the names of their families and loved ones as collateral ensuring their loyalty
This part was eye openingbetter trained than any Crimson Guardsman and twice as ruthless
And even more so when you realize who is saying it.pitting my own Grenadiers against these men
Great fucking ending.they will spill a river of blood to protect their leader."
There's almost nothing for the Twilight Guards in terms of file cards other than "they're like Crimson Guards, but loyal to CC" so it was kind of fun to run with that. We have some experience with cult leaders in positions of power after all.Ah damn! May have been too much of a wink tho

The Twilight Guard don't have tattoos; they have brands.I guess that's really it yeah. Of course you're gonna make every one enticing otherwise why write it?
But yeah, the cult angle is so disturbing to me. But definitely a crucial component to the whole thing.
It has to be, right? I think that's one of the more interesting ideas buried in here; CC spent so long literally trying to rule the world. What -actually- happens when he gets it? You either have to rule the graveyard, or spend your entire life incredibly paranoid and surrounded by walls within walls within walls.I love how Lewis' tenure is clearly unsustainable. Every Joe under surveillance, every threat around the corner is overwhelming.
What happens when the worst person on earth actually gets what he wants.I love how Lewis' tenure is clearly unsustainable. Every Joe under surveillance, every threat around the corner is overwhelming.
Maybe it's me trying to push my hopes into story form but yeah, I gotta hope that a paranoid megalomaniac who doesn't trust anyone will not be able to sustain power... right? RIGHT?It has to be, right? I think that's one of the more interesting ideas buried in here; CC spent so long literally trying to rule the world. What -actually- happens when he gets it? I think in the 80s the Joes would have been too optimistic to think this could happen, but with the sensibilities of today's world no way they wouldn't have contingencies, I'd think.Great cards, as always. Frostbite is out there doing cold-Joe stuff. I really dig the idea in there that not only did the Joe leadership understand something like this was, maybe not inevitable, but a strong enough possibility to plan for. But also that the extreme weather type Joes would be the most suited to retrieve any cache of gear.
Okay now I need you guys to help me pick an existing blank character to be the Cobra Accountant. Maybe one of the Crimson generics since the CeeGees are all accountants and lawyers?Does Cobra or MARS have any accountant-types? I feel like we need a file card where someone realizes that an inventory of The Pit has come up short on a number of vehicles and heavy ordinance/weapons that should have been there, and how bad that is for them.
I thought TG was just a kind of nifty re-paint when they put it out but making it CC's PERSONAL guard is interesting - he knows the Crimsons are loyal to the twins and so they control the smartest people in the organization.Twilight Guard is great for amping up that Lewis paranoia and the absolutely ridiculous situation he's put himself in of needing, as I said above, walls within walls, just to feel even remotely secure.
I have no nostalgia for Ninja Force but I know a lot of guys do, so I wanted to bring them in and treat them with a respectful/serious eye. Like I said upthread, I only got Nunchuk because he happened to come out when there was a lull and just was over-enthusiastic but I'm like... how can we make this guy more fun with so little existing material?Nunchuk is another figure I now kind of regret skipping, of course. I do really, genuinely, love that 'Ninja Force' is just a thing that exists in this universe with a totally straight face.
