G.I. Joe Classified Series: The Chatty Pointless Thread & Performance Art

So my Retro case is still “processing”, but I’ve got headswaps set aside already for poor Crazy-Legs. I’ve got Night Force Falcon, whitebro cop, and Mainframe heads on standby to see what looks best, C-L’s head is going on a cop because of course it is.
 
Is the neck peg for the cop figure normal, or is it modified for easier swapping? I've been considering one for kitbashing spare parts, but I haven't throught to ask those with one in hand.

Availability is one of the reasons I got Sci-Fi- he's the only one from that wave who's price I haven't seen drop on Amazon.

It's easy to pop off, but I tried putting the cop head on an extra Law and my god I was fighting for my LIFE trying to get the head off the heck itself on the cop (and the greenshirt - I was just really trying to get either one of them off the heck to pop onto Law's). The head fit just fine with some heat and now fits like it belongs there but it was touch and go for a while.

I was thinking Mainframe's other head might be a good stand-in for Crazy Legs. REALLY hoping that's an easy pop and swap. I know that'd make them twinsies but it's better than Temu Adam Sandler.

The neck itself pops out of the body easily, but getting the HEAD off the ball peg will require some heat. I use a heat gun just because I find it easier than getting a figure drenched by setting it in boiling water. Not ALL heads are universal either. If you have one you'd like to use, and the donor figure has the moveable neck as well, just heat up the entire head/neck and just swap those. I did that with at least 2 of my 8 swaps.
 
My best friend got me the desert scorpion set for my birthday. I've been having so much fun with these guys. Had the giant scorpion menacing the NECA Pee Wee Herman earlier, but now he's facing off against BFS Red Sonja. DS got into it yesterday with some members of the Batman Family, but now has joined his fellow Cobra members in the main Joe display. THIS is what action figure collecting is all about...fun figures you can enjoy posing and sticking into whatever scenarios enter your mind.

I finally made the time to watch this. Then skimmed through some because JESUS CHRIST man... I mean it's great they're buddies hanging out and such, but I really just want the goddamned list! So one of these guys at least, I guess, owns a shop or something, so he's going over a list of stuff he has ordered. I don't know if some of these are codenamed or what but I'll just type what he said and we can chew on them some.

First are ones we knew:

Airtight
Zanya/vehicle
Deep Six
Iceberg
Cobra La Royal Guard

Then he also named:

King Cobra Commander, priced around $70
Stealth Flight Pod & Green Ferret
IG Destro/Despoiler, probably priced around the same as Hawk/MMS.

Legacy Infantry Army Trooper
Legacy Snow Rescue Trooper
"Raptor Master W/Raptor" (apparently the dinosaur guy but it's a new character, NOT the same Raptor we have)
Dusty/Sandstorm
Laura Croft (Yeah. tie-in with the movie? A Rocky kinda situation? Dunno)
IG Mistress Armada
"Rugged Duke" (speculated to be the unkempt version in the Energon comics apparently, would be great for one of Doc's cards to pick up Duke's plot there)
Toxo Viper
New Unknown Cobra Character
New Unknown GI Joe Character

Those last two... who knows. Could be like Wolf Spider, or could be characters never done in Classified, or any scale, dunno.

I THINK I got everything because then they started playing Johnny Fuckaround and I skipped ahead a few times then gave up.
 
To speculate... the guys were thinking the King CC is the hooded version with a throne or something, and I could see that I guess... especially if it's fan channel and they're hoping to skip any "yikes, KKK much?" shit from dumb retailers. If it's "King", I would hope they won't go with the retro CC body and make him slightly more regal than that.

Thank you... for real! Jesus. You know what would be fun? We rarely all hang out, let's record this one! but yeah, as soon as it started, I obviously put it aside for 12 hours. Now, to quote Jarhead, "I have more important things to do, like play with my balls."

Yeah, agreed. I'm still not sold on these guys being legit. Some cool stuff, and maybe it's all real, but...
 
Sophie Turner Lara Croft for the show?

Classic Lara? She has two games due this year so I can see the tie in. Somehow.

Happy to see Energon Duke. I would take an Energon subline. One of the few comics that actually excites me these days that isn't horror.
 
They did that Fortnite Snake Eyes... any other Video Game tie-ins? but yeah, that's not totally outlandish then.

Mmmmmmmm.... it would be amazing if they weaved some COD Modern Warfare into Classified...

And the 'new' Joe and Cobra characters... would be cool if it was Energon Baroness or Risk, and Energon Mercer....
