G.I. Joe Classified - News & Updates

I will use my EB seduction powers if you want any.

Just let me know who when we find out.

Staff at my store treats me like this board treats Flint.
We'll definitely stay in touch about it.
I have... four? EBs locally and I don't think I've seen any Target exclusives at any of them in a very long time. Like... maybe since Marvel Legends Jigsaw?

I have an easy time pre-ordering or finessing anything, within reason. The only thing I have ever missed that I cared about was a McFarlane Platinum that I can't even think about what it is... so I guess I didn't really want it. Platinum. Red platinums. Exclusives. Chases. Con things.

If they can't figure it out in the system for me or get a transfer, I'm also that guy -Apologies to anyone this has happened to - where if I just ask if if they know about an item, they will pull it from the back and say "technically it's on hold for Rival Guy, but we like you more, so here you go."

They will even offer me things when I walk in, probably because it's such an easy add-on. "Hold this Wolverine,.we can move it as soon as he comes for his Batgirl pickup".

Also, my store, despite being the only one left after killing the other two in the area, is more Legends focused, and Joe is like a decent stock low demand item, as long as you make your needs known. The only Joe thing I have not seen restocked or even with an extra for the shelf was the Hawk missile set.

But we're going to get ahead of all that anyway by timing the pre-order online and in person. Whenever they drop a date.

Was at the local Walmart this morning and made my usual cruise through the action figure aisle and noticed they had three or four each of the Desert Scorpion and Snake Eyes/Polar Bear sets locked up in in a plexiglass case at the end of the aisle they usually put the Pokemon stuff in. Not sure if theft's become an issue with Joes or what, this store does have deodorant locked up in a case.

Meanwhile in the electronics aisle they had a couple Ghost Viper sets just hanging out on a shelf — If I was a degenerate, I would much rather steal those ...

But the real good news is now that Walmart has the Snake Eyes/Polar Bears in store, I can look forward to finding a set in the aisle in a couple weeks with a dog toy swapped in for the polar bear.

Doc's one of my favorite figures in the entire line. The modular pouches ARE a bit too fiddly but that's the only knock I have on him.

Doc is also one of my favorites of the line.

Speaking of final figures of '25, does anyone have any ideas what the holes on Order's vest may portend for the future? Was there a figure with stuff mounted in previous lines?

I was a Half Price Books yesterday and grabbed a few Larry Hama Wolverine issues, now I'm envisioning a GI Joe/Wolverine display.
Junior high and early high school was all about reading Larry Hama titles for me. Wolverine and G.I. Joe were my top Marvel pulls of that time, and sometimes the only books I was reading that didn’t star Batman.

Do we have leaks about Golobulous?

Every Joe vendor at this toy show was telling me SDCC is Golobulous. It makes sense, but these guys were all certain.

Would vendors get a heads up about a SDCC exclusive since it wouldn't be offered to them?

Anyway on the topic of leaks it looks like Hasbro has managed to staunch the bleeding on that topic. When was the last time we saw any leaks in regards to prototypes/samples from the factory? Monkeywrench and BA:CC? With how the business works there will always be the leak lists due to having to sell to the big boys, but actual factory product leaks seem to have dried up.
