G.I. Joe Classified - News & Updates

Funny y'all bring up the Vipers as I was just putting my various vipers together to make a special squad. I don't remember the Vipers' legs being as insanely wobbly as they are.
 
It was nice to see Classified teases at the end of the year as Star Wars and Marvel get December reveals. Did Transformers?

I like all three of these reveals. I have a feeling they are coming in a three pack. I would prefer a versus two pack and a deluxe. The Big Ben body allows for head swaps to create Joes in Arctic gear. If it’s a three pack I think I’m good with one. I am thrilled they exist. Curious how many more Arctic figures will come.

Yeah they were terrible. Even posing up retro Lady Jaye last night, I was reminded of those early legs.
 

Highlights according to toynewsi:
Hasbro has confirmed in an interview with Adventures In Collecting Podcast that the recently announced Arctic Steel Corp Trooper, Arctic S.A.W. Viper and Drift Viper figures will be released as a 3-pack sometime next year. Sounds like it will be a Pulse Exclusive though they didn't say that specifically.

They also said the are looking at ways to do accessory packs. We might see Firefighter figures with different decos

They also announced that there is more Ninja Force figures along with Zartan coming in 2026. Specifically they said they will be doing a new T’Jbang (G.I. Joe team's ninja swordsman) figure in 2026.

If the revealed arctic figures are a 3pk, I'll be skipping it. I like the idea of arctic deco figures, but I don't like these 3 particular attempts.

I wish the Legacy Firefighter was tan instead of black. I did buy a few of the firefighter, because I've long wanted civil servant action figures. I'll buy more Firefighters if they're in a tan colorway.

Ninja Force figures are easy skips for me. Didn't get Nunchuck. Passed on Slice & Dice, and I'll skip whichever ones are made. Already plenty of ninjas in the line for me.
 
Bummer that Arctic bros are a three-pack, as I’d have wanted more of the Steel Corps guys than the Cobras (for once).
Firefighters are cool, I’ve got a bunch but I’d consider a new colorway. Tan does sound like a good choice.

T'Jbang is my favorite Ninja Force dude after Storm Shadow. For really real. I hope they don't 'classify him up' too much. I really do just want that ARAH figure. He was so ridiculous and also awesome. He better come with the ARAH-style swords as well.

And man, I desperately hope 'more Ninja Force' means a redo of NF Storm Shadow. DESPERATELY.
 
I really don't even mind the Saw Viper, I don't have one and the redeco looks clean, but Big Ben is probably the worst engineered Joe I own- straight bicep cut, those odd ring shoulders, big blocky ab crunch that never quite looks right. Hopefully it hits clearance/whatever Pulse calls it.
 
I was in for all 3 so how they are packaged makes little difference personally, but unlike the HISS squad I could see folks having differing interests in these figures in particular. More NF is welcome. I have a shelf dedicated to ninjas at this point. It's overshadowing some of the other shelves, but that's what the brand did in the 90's.
