I really like the elves they made. Lots of opportunity to mix and match heads, hats and swap out arms (and legs to some extent) to army build them. Of course elbow and knee articulation would help, but they work fine with the various Santas, as do the Nutcrackers.

Haha I just watched that this morning.
I bought a Gremlin King Santa with the purpose of doing this fix up. I wasn't super keen on my evil Robot Santa looking so similar to regular Santa and thought the black trim would change him up enough. I really like it. I didn't even place that he has silver buckles instead of gold until I got him in hand and I like those too. His neck is green under the head, but that's real hard to see, still may end up painting it silver or black at some point.
After getting him all together and seeing all the black and red, I could see him spending the other 10 months out of the year on my Red Shadows shelf.

Just as an aside, I am always down for Evil Robot versions of beloved characters.
Looks great! I was tempted after seeing it, but will note that the Cyborg Nutcrackers have gold highlights so match the gold on the buckles/belt. So now torn on this.

That is a pretty good recipe indeed. Cyborg Santa's my favorite and this is a nice look for him.
