Star Wars Black Series

Holy crap, I STILL HAVE THE SWOOP RIDER and would commit a minor felony to see him in Black Series style. He was my stand-in as a kid for some anonymous rebel hanging out with the heroes.
I love how many of us did the same thing with that guy. That design just gave everyone license to add their own headcanon to SW.
I'd buy Kleya with hair up and down.
Oh man, Kleya. I feel trauma-bonded to that character after episode 10 of season 2. The moment the hospital came up I knew where we were headed and dang, what an emotional hour of TV.

I keep pushing for a Mon spinoff, with Kleya on it, but maybe Kleya is the next Andor (with Mon still in the show).

Honestly I want Andor to be a totally closed book. After finishing the series last night I had the realization that there are probably more good hours of Andor than there are good hours of Star Wars movies. It's such an achievement that I think we're in for ten years of people chasing the show in Star Wars media trying to capture what made it good and failing.

They'll think it was this character or that. They'll think it was including an attempted SA or that it was morally grey protagonists. People will want to spin off every character who lived and make them an equally big thing.

And it'll be just like previous EU stuff where the majority of it is disposable, interchangeable slop. I love a lot of Star Wars stuff, but a ton of it even I realize is just filling time. I think Andor is legitimately a good piece of art. Not good for Star Wars, good independent of the license it's a part of. And I just sort of want it to stop where it is. No spin offs. No continuation. This was these characters' lives and nothing we're going to get in expansion will do justice to what our imaginations will give us as individual fans.

I agree about it being a good piece of art. They really made something wonderful. So, in a perfect world, my spinoff ideas are continuing exactly the same tone and intricacies, letting the characters be and breathe, etc. And I know Tony Gilroy is stepping back from Star Wars (don't blame him, especially leaving on a high note), so that isn't super likely, but there were other directors and writers involved, including his brother, Dan Gilroy.

But I'm sure you're right about some having the wrong takeaways and replicating what they thought made it successful poorly.

Say what you want about Partagaz, he has excellent taste in pistols.

I need a Kleya. Make it a deluxe with several different outfits, head sculpts, and the amazing radio desk. Actually, make a lifesize role play version of the radio desk too, even if all it'll do is look pretty while I listen to the football commentary.

Yeah, Kleya is a MUST.

I think it should be this look:

I have no idea what look I'd want for Kleya but I'd absolutely buy as many of her as I've bought of Cassian so far.
Characters I'd love to see but don't expect from Andor after it's all said and done:
SERIOUSLY want:
Melshi
Partagaz
General Draven
Bail Organa
Syril
Kino Loy!
Maarva
Wilmon

Long shots but would buy without hesitation:
The entire Aldhani squad but Nemik especially
Brasso
Cinta
Heert EDIT and Lagret - actually more Lagret than Heert
Perrin
the Sculdins

We did get Lonni but unnamed, yeah? I kinda read that Imperial Officer with the mustache from last year as Lonni.

Not having Bail at this point is a little strange.

But if we did get him, it’d have to be Jimmy Smits right? Bratt did a perfectly fine job, but I still wish it was Smits in the role and he’s done it how many other times before this?

I think it'd have to be Smits first after all this time--he's not just live action but his likeness was used in all the animated stuff too. I could see them doing both at some point, or neither ever, really.

I absolutely want Kleya and Jimmy Smitts should be the first Black Series Bail Organa figure. I also want Black Series figures of Pao and Moroff. We never got Black Series figures of them during Rogue One, even though they got 3.75" figures.

Partagaz would make a great figure too. I love having Imperials.

I'm going to be a contrarian and say I actually liked Bratt better in the role. Not a knock to Jimmy, I just vibed with Bratt.

Yeah, Partagaz had that real villain mentor competence thing going for him. Evil, but you had to respect the game.
