Aw. Hoping we get a bigger variant at some point. I just remember the comic where he was a unit.

I like the arctic SAW Viper, as his garb is bulky and looks appropriate for cold weather.

The arctic Night Viper doesn't look to be equipped for cold weather with his skin tight outfit. I'd much rather have an arctic Cobra Trooper or basic Viper. Just repainting a figure white and calling it arctic doesn't work for every figure.

I've never liked the Steel Brigade helmet. And I don't think a Joe having the exact color scheme as Cobras coming out at the same time is a good idea. Make his pants brown or green, something other than grey. I suppose he could be part swapped with some other figure, like the Joe greenshirt. And yeah, give him someone else's head.

I do like the idea of getting more arctic figures. Not a bad way to get variants out and utilize existing molds. But some of these choices just aren't great.

Ah yeah, I always come back to the Extreme Conditions sets they did, like the arctic vipers and Scrap Iron.

Hopefully he's one of the deluxe figures next year. We've discussed having themes like that here and I'm thrilled they seem to be going that way now.

Actually, I'm more just like 'these are fine, I guess.' I like them enough to get them, but they don't really excite me very much. Making a wintery Steel Brigade dude is cool, but not as cool as doing an actual existing winter-themed Joe we don't have yet. But it looks cool and I'll get it. Night Viper in white/grey looks really cool. I dig the idea that he's wearing some kind of super tight thermal suit that, maybe, only has enough battery life for a certain amount of time. So he's like a quick infiltration guy. You just see that red dot through the snow-haze in the middle of the night and then you see nothing ever again.

SAW Viper is still just the cutest little guy, but I'm hoping the wolf skin will add some bulk in addition to his armour to make him look more intimidating. Either way, I'm getting all three. This arctic display is going to be badass.

I really like all of those figures and love that they're doing stuff like that, but still gonna skip these. If they're doing a wave of five, maybe arctic Baroness and Scarlett as well?

Nah. Give us new characters: Cold Front, or Avalanche, or both.

And they probably will, eventually. But clearly sometimes we need repaints and kitbashes to make the line balance out.
