I don’t think MTG is the calculated type. She probably has offers in the private sector that are far more lucrative and than what she gets now. If she isn’t already, she’s going to be fabulously wealthy for branding herself as a massive piece of shit. Right now, it feels like it’s easy to get rich if you have absolutely no morals.
I think it's like Trump. She is just a vehicle for other people's ambitions. She doesn't need to be calculating as long as other people are laying the track for her. And in a much more cynical way than lobbyists already have been doing it.
 



 
Man, Abbott is in the running for biggest piece of shit politician. Given the diversity of opinions in a place as large as Texas it's amazing he doesn't pay more of a price politically.
A NYT opinion article once dubbed the area where I live "Gerrymander USA". It's a real strong tactic. We've got a murderer's row of vile, incompetent, dipshits down here. Abbot's up there. But Paxton isn't far behind, not to mention Cruz.

Without the annual pass, international visitors will be charged a $100 per-person fee to enter the following national parks, in addition to the entrance fee the parks already charge
