McFarlane DC Multiverse

Superman and Joker showed up today leaving me with one more MTS preorder. Ordered on 9/18/25, supposed to ship in October, and still not even a mailing label generated yet. It’s the all Bat wave. Didn’t get the bundle, but even so, I ordered 5 of 7. My largest McFarlane preorder in quite a while. Passes on blue/gray Batgirl as I don’t care for the design. Batman International seemed redundant to me. What’s everyone else’s status on this wave?

Also, where is everything else? We know the next 20 figures more or less. I thought we’d see a few more things up for sale before we close out 2025. Radio silence for the last month regarding DCM.

I received my Batman Day Bundle with those figures from McFarlane Toy Store on 11/1, so a couple of weeks ago now. The Failsafe mega figure was the highlight for me. I had already been seeing all of these figures at retail a week or two before I received mine, so I thought mine were late!

I have no McFarlane stuff pre-ordered right now. I'm watching for opportunities to pick up all of Blackfire, Cheetah and the Dark Flash wraiths but missed the pre-orders. I'd probably buy the purple Batgirl if I ever saw her available also. I continue to watch ToySnowman and physical retail hoping to find these. I check Walmart.com for them every once in a while because I know my local store will never stock them. The only DC Multiverse that my Walmart has stocked anytime in recent history (maybe all year?) are the Adam Strange / Deadshot / Year Two Batman wave and that gold label dirty movie Superman.

My guess is that McFarlane is in no hurry to announce or put anything new up for pre-order that won't make it out before the holidays and we're likely past that window now. It may be quiet until the new year. It felt like they rushed to get a bunch of stuff out all at once in October that may have originally been intended to fill the full quarter.

I remember ordering in-stock items only from them in early December 2023 as part of "12 Days of Christmas Sale" (or something like that) that they didn't ship until February 2024. Each time I followed up they advised they were working through orders as quickly as they could. They may be trying to avoid that type of situation happening again by not listing anything new this time of year. Update: I went back and checked the dates directly from their site to confirm this. I ordered 11 in-stock sale items on December 8th, 2023 and they shipped (created the label) on February 3rd, 2024. All of it was older stuff at that time also, no recent releases. It was long enough ago that I can no longer see the delivery date in the tracking but I've never gotten anything delivered in under 2 weeks from when they say it has shipped (even though it's only Las Vegas to Des Moines), so I know that it was after Valentine's Day before I had them in hand.

John Wesly Shipp flash was in the rumor mill and I hope that turns out to be true before the end and I hope it turns out good. I recently sold my Mattel version which was a really good figure and I have. a bit of seller's remorse. I hope Todd comes through on this one.

Received my Catwoman from Entertainment Earth, box was crushed, which is a first for EE in my experience. This figure's face and overall sculpt are great. Where it's lacking is in no extra hands. It's not like she's a super posable figure, so be it, but she needs more than just one claw hand and a whip/tazer holding hand, as we're not likely to get any more of these unless McFarlane plans on giving us a battle damaged / unmasked look. If that's the case (which I'll buy), TODD, INCLUDE MORE HANDS FOR THIS "THEATRICAL DELUXE" FIGURE!

I will always appreciate that it was made in the first place though!

It's the one set back in the whole line, these figures are all sorely lacking in accessories for what we are paying, it's not just Catwoman.

But yea, once you get past the fact that you were price gouged, it's really good to have these figures.

I must admit, I am enjoying the lull in release of figures right now. Unfortunately, that means there hasn't been much chatter on the forum lately. It's nice to take a break, but I am still looking for items like Page Punchers Cheetah. I have seen Page Punchers Superman, Joker & Extant at Gamestop but not Cheetah. I have also seen all of the Batman day figures as well.

I have nothing coming from McFarlane Toys right now but my BR Batman & Catwoman shipped from EE, so they will be here next week. Once I receive those, I don't have any other McFarlane pre-orders. Maybe all of the figures for Winter will released next month. I just wonder if there is an issues getting their inventory from overseas.

I also realized that I ordered the McFarlane Exclusive Super Powers figures in July and they have not shown any new figures since then. I wonder if that line is done or taking a long break.

Yeah, the lack of hands on the BR figures is a little head-scratching. Todd loves his extra hands. Hell, some figures in the past have only come with interchangeable hands. My only thinking is that, because Catwoman and Penguin's hands are unique, it would mean having to create new molds and he didn't want to shell out (even if one of Penguin's hands was just a glorified normal hand), maybe given the cost of the likeness rights in the first place. That wouldn't explain Max, though. Hell- he's mostly reuse anyway, so the fact he didn't get any accessories is a little odd.

I have no doubt that customizers will make swappable hands for at least Penguin and Catwoman, though, and probably more accurate ones- Penguin with the correct flippers and Catwoman maybe even with the correct claws. I know that's not the point- they should come with them- but still. I'm not too too worried about it. I hope they do; I really want her to be able to hold her whip and taser at the same time.

Since this is the only line I collect and it’s very likely ending next year, I tend to get a little antsy when I don’t see anything new for an extended period of time. There’s nothing in the Entertainment Earth Drop Zone for McFarlane and the only thing on social media are the Marvel Rivals statues on sale 11/25.

Todd showed some pretty cool stuff at NYCC, but I was under the impression that at least some of would ship before the New Year. Perhaps I misunderstood.

My Batman Day order is still “awaiting fulfillment”. Not even a shipping label and I’ve seen the entire wave in the wild. It’s tempting to cancel, but I’m trying to build up some more Platinum points. I also got a decent discount with the Platinum membership and the $20.00 discount code.

The DC Multiverse & Collectors Edition figures shown are for Winter 2025. That doesn't start until the third week of December, but could they come out sooner? The Flash & Green Lantern Page Punchers are Spring 2026, so that's a few more months. I think they don't have the inventory yet, so that's why there are no pre-orders, but that is my opinion and not fact. I think it will all come out before Christmas.

I keep looking for platinum figures but don't see many of them. I have seen regular Mirror Master, Deathstroke & Metron but not the platinum versions. I see a few Dark Archers & Darkstars (regular & platinum both). I have seen Dr. Mid-Nite at three different The Exchange stores along with the Batman Day figures. If you don't have The Exchange in your area, they sell CDs, DVDs, Vinyl & Collectibles - so old music, movies, tv shows & toys.

We have 2nd and Charles around here. Same kind of stuff. I can occasionally find a graphic novel I’m looking for there. They also have a fair amount of DCM. Some new, some older. Newest ones I’ve seen are the Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor Page Punchers about six weeks ago.

My thoughts are that Todd would try to get as much production done as possible before the Chinese New Year starting on February 17th and going for two weeks until March 3rd. Hopefully some of that stuff will be hitting the ports soon.

I just realized my Batman returns Batman shipped from BBTS. Finally, I will complete the set. I think I'm good on all things McFarlane until Professor Pyg goes up for pre order. Does anyone have any idea when that might be?

I was looking at Entertainment Earth's Drop Zone, and there are no McFarlane pre orders scheduled for the rest of November as of now.
