McFarlane DC Multiverse

I'm really waiting for Amazon to start shipping the WW/Godzilla set so I can get Godzilla up on Ebay.

Has anyone who was able to get the Batman Returns wave from Amazon had their orders delivered? Curious if Amazon is also awaiting stock like Best Buy appears to be.

It's been rather quiet with McFarlane DC figures lately. Not many preorders, but I'm sure we'll see stuff coming up around the holidays.
Been wondering about this too. My sense is that he’s way behind fulfilling orders. I think I had five preorders at one point, four of which were supposed to ship in October. I’m still waiting for three of those. One is in route. One has a shipping label. And one is still “awaiting fulfillment”. I’m guessing he’s clearing the backlog before he puts more up for preorder.

Next up should be some combination of…

Starman (Jack)
Static Shock GL
Ice
Authority Superman
Larfleeze
Rocket Red
Wally Flash
Black Condor RPL
Gangbuster RPL

And the Collectors Edition wave…

Zatanna/Detective Chimp
Cosmic Boy
Elongated Man
Blackhawk
Prof. Pyg

Plus the Platinums.

Page Punchers are likely next year.

I’m guessing the Batman Returns wave is the Christmas gift wave.

That means there are essentially 4/5 more waves coming before the end of the year 2026 which might spill over into the start of 2027 based on how Target and Walmart are about stocking

Got Catwoman and... maybe the most accurate face sculpt of a real person I've got from Todd? At least in DC. But I will never not hate his obsession with posing the figures in the plastic, cos poor Michell is curved like contact lens. Totally unnecessary.

Yeah, I almost broker her right knee just trying to get her to stand up with her feet level ON THE STAND.
I might cancel the Batman, and sub in one of the 2 '89 Batman figures I have with Pengy and Kitty.

Hard to say if that's complimentary. My friend who judges likenesses was like "Oh. Did they even try to do Michelle?"

Maybe I have face blindness, I think it looks bang on? Hasbro style face print would have been the difference, to my tastes.

It's both a compliment and an insult, because it's a REALLY good likeness, and McF likenesses are usually awful. It's legit impressive.

This wave is outstanding. Best of the year for DC Multiverse for me personally. Only complaint is that they didn’t do this figure, too:

Nah, that Batman is a glow up. Keep it.

I got WW vs Godzilla. Kind of want to flip Zilla, but I have no idea what the real valuation is there. He is huge, though.
I was a vendor at a toy show a couple weekends ago, and I took my Godzilla from that pack there to sell. I didn't know what to put on him, so I stuck $30 on a tag and put him on the shelf. He sold in about 5 minutes, and I was asked by two others shortly after if I was "the guy with the big Godzilla."

Not sure if that's a typical situation, but big Godzilla's remain popular it would seem and whatever price you go with, my experience would be "go a little higher than $30" lol

I nearly kept him, he has a lot of presence. I know the knock on these has been about their lack of articulation, but honestly I'm not sure how articulated you need Godzilla to be. If I would have had space, I'd have kept him in a heartbeat. He was pretty cool in hand.

I didn’t buy the Kong or Godzilla 2-packs. However, I’m one of the idiots who bought this Godzilla 2 pack to get the modern Wonder Woman. No real regrets about it as I’m sure the price will spike as more people become aware of this version of WW. I don’t need Kong or the big G as they’re not officially in the DCU.

But I did buy Titano. And I like him a lot. He’s the largest DCM figure so far and it’s pretty cool to have him. I know he’s a Kong repaint and do not care. A big, fun hunk of plastic.

Also Cheetah and Extant should be delivered today.
