Roboskull MKII/Skeletron

Yeah, I'm kinda worried they're so mum about future plans; like maybe they have none and just wanted this stuff for their own collections and will dip out, later gator once done.
As mentioned, they've at least claimed there's more down the road. And I actually really appreciate they haven't got out in front of their own skis talking about it when there's still stuff outstanding on this kick.

Even if they dip out after this one, it's been a fantastic purchase. Totally worth the wait.
Weren't these guys in bed with Marauder for their figures? And Marauder is supposed to start making 6" figures? If the Roboskull 6" figures are starting to be manufactured, maybe Marauder will reveal their 6" figures in the near future.

From the KS, I only ordered the basic Roboskull itself. After receiving it, it sat unopened for months. When I finally did open it...wow. It's amazing. A really nice product. I do want to get the flight stand for it, but I'm hoping to get a 6" Skeletron at the same time to save on shipping. EDIT: Just discovered they have $4 flat rate shipping. Hmmm. To order the flight stand or to wait for Skeletron.
The flight stand is 100% worth it.

Every so often I think, maybe I should pick up a second Roboskull in the standard colors... maybe if I had more space. That way madness lies. But dang the kick exclusive looks cool and it'd look even cooler flanked by wingmen.

I couldn't pull the trigger on the RoboSkull, but if they make a TIE Crawler variant with big chunky tank treads instead of the wings I'll have to bite.

DEFINITELY get the stand. It really helps a lot in making this a displayable piece.

Is that a top shelf? Bold. BOLD placement. You like to live dangerously.
Top shelf is generally the only place I can fit ANY vehicles, unless it's smaller stuff like the VAMP. I'm far more nervous about my 18" MAS Transformers on the top shelf next to these... But they've been up there a few years now 🤞
How...how is that Dragonfly staying on there??
I'm not completely insane, that setup stayed there long enough to take the comparison pic when I received the Roboskull. Unfortunately the extreme angle of the flight stand on the Dragonfly kept it from fitting on that shelf. Still trying to come up with a display option for that one...

Honestly... very excited to have these in the not too distant future. I would love for them to do something like the Muton and Kraken to keep the Red Shadows theme going. I know FMF got smacked by Hasbro and so lkely won't be delivering those... maybe these guys can?

That was in production before Hasbro told them to stop. And I knew they made that but as a 1/12 guy, that isn't the one I want.

I flat-out don't believe a company would be allowed to sell what the rights-holding company told them to stop manufacturing. Hasbro has a long reputation for tolerating sales of copycat designs so long as the packaging/advertising doesn't step on their trademarks. Was this an FMF announcement?

I just got a shipping notice from Roboskull. For the Roboskull armor set. Forgot I ordered that. I'm not sure how to check what I ordered in the backerkit, as those emails are long gone. EDIT. Found my Backerkit. Ordered the armor set, a drone 3pk (got those a while ago), and a 6" Skeletron. Guess I'll just order a flight stand on its own now.

FMF said they got a friendly-ish 'knock-it off' from Hasbro about their Crimson Moon figures. I think maybe more because a formal licensor like Super7 wanted to use those designs than anything more serious. so it wasn't formal legal action but more a gentle nudge among acquaintances.

The 1/12 guys are still coming but I think it's a bit telling the wave 2 that was supposed to go up the same summer as wave 1 that was heavily Adventure Team inspired didn't go up and there's been little to no fanfare (like there's been no updated promo photos) about figures that are supposed to be arriving in fan fare.
