Masters of the Universe: Origins

Got a couple of Cartoon Collection figures from BBTS this morning. Buzz-Off is neat but feels a little... flat? Like he just doesn't pop the way some of the others do. No regrets cos Buzz-Off is a top three favorite character for me but just not wowed. Frosta is surprisingly cool (pun not intended but I'm owning it). Her colors really pop. And invisible Skeletor is SO ridiculous. Like this is a dumb figure and I love how dumb it is. 10/10 no notes, keep being weird, Skeletor.

I am also a bit skeptical because I don't see them going from a Crowdfund model for a relatively large playset to just a straight up order, even if the playset is smaller this time around. However Michael and Toy Sorceress do seem to have some solid inside connections so maybe?

It's just that the money signs/symbols under each date indicate the price point the item will be. If it's one $ symbol, it will be anywhere from $1-$9(which simply doesn't happen, because nothing is that cheap these days). If it's two $$ symbols, it will be $10-$99, and if it's 3 $$$ symbols it will be $100-$999

And under the MOTU May 24th event, there are two $$ symbols. So, the item that day will be anywhere from $10-$99. And I don't see the Snake Lair, new or old matching that price point, even at $99.

It's probably either the usual $25 single figure, or a $40 beast or deluxe set.

But I don't know, and as Justice mentioned, ToyHabits does get good intel. But, i really feel they are more speculating this time, and the two $$ symbols make me feel that speculation is wrong. if it was really the Snake Lair, I'd expect a crowdfund, but even if no crowdfund, I'd expect 3 $$$ symbols, because it would have to be over $100

Cool I didn't know that was the range each dollar sign represented.
 
Mattel is killing my bank account with all these lines and sublines. It's like they know how easy I am to woo. It would be a lot easier to get excited about it and say that in a more of a light joking way if there wasn't a brewing tariff storm happening.
 
Probably won't look as good as Mondo, but will cost a quarter of the price, so I'm in. (Though I'd have preferred them in Masterverse scale.)
 
So theres apparently a 'back in stock' sale on Creations currently for a number of Origins figures... Sy-klone, Extendar, Two-Bad 2 pack, Rokkon and Demo Man available. It was live for 'members only' at 10 am, but may open up to everyone at 11.

Additionally I got the e-mail from BBTS that the Origins 4-pack arrived in stock, so that will be fun. This is the one with Horde Prime, the two headed snake man, The Royal Eternia guard (white armor) and the weird skeletor demon thing... anyway, it looks like fun.
 
Well, I am a Grayskull member but had no idea the sale was happening until I saw your post. By the time I got there (about 10 minutes after yours) they were showing sold out.

I already had all of it except the Two Bad pack so no big worries.
 
I’m interested in a second Sy-Klone but it’s saying members only.
 
The only one I wanted was Rokkon and he was gone by the time I saw the sale (12:10 EST). Bummed I'll probably never get one.
