More important than a redo of the Hellfire guards would be actual Hellfire member Harry Leland.
True
Really they just need to re-release him - I doubt they would make him an army builder per se like the past packs, but just put him up for order again on Pulse and make to order.
They could definitely go that route, but I think doing him without the jacket would be a good way to make him an army builder, since that is his power set. Throw in an extra head or two to make distinct looks for him, and I'd buy several.
It is interesting how Hepzibah turned from skunk lady to essentially a white cat lady over time. Even editors can't figure out shading of previous artwork. Maybe her race turns white over time? I'd want her earlier look. Some of the other ones posted, like that Frank artwork...I'd rather take a simplistic swimsuit over forced "modern" armor look. Hell, if it wasn't for her companions surrounding her, I wouldn't recognize her.
Maybe her race sheds their coat during certain seasons? When she is white, that might be her winter coat! This is the type of headcanon stuff I come up with to explain away inconsistencies.
I like Dwight mentioning Hellfire Club and Skrulls being updated. I passed on the the first time around (I really prefer the styling of the Marvel Select Skrulls to superhero physiques with Skrull heads) but would probably cave on updated versions. Maybe use Toad's body for Skrulls?
I'd really like to see both the heroic body Skrulls AND the shorter, more alien looking ones. While the latter are definitely my preference, I like the idea of having different sized bodies for a race of shape-shifters.
Dwight also mentioned them mocking up the Danger Room. Showed it to "some people" and they're trying to figure out how best to release it. Sounds like they put a little more work into it than just sketches.
Hmmmm....at one point I would have been SO excited for this news. Nowadays, I automatically think "ah, cool...something else I can't afford"
Hulk has upcoming product. Which has been hinted at being a wave. Also the mention of deluxe/oversized retro cards, which could be Hulk stuff.
As long as a redo of classic Doc Sampson is in the wave, I'm happy
I'd be in for the Danger Room provided it's done large enough to facilitate large team instances. If it's just some standee of cardboard and clip together plastic I probably wont bother. But if it's modular so you can buy a couple kits and build out a larger footprint for the room, complete with an access door, removable panels to show damage/circuitry in the room, various robots or attachable weapons arms and an elevated viewing booth for Xavier and maybe one other figure I'd be all over it.
I love the idea of it, for sure. I know in my heart though that cardboard would be all I'd be able to afford at today's prices.
As for a Multiple Man rerelease I feel like after season #2 of X-Men 97 hits we're likely to get another Jaime, more than likely wearing a green jacket that prompts everyone to dump their previous MM and rebuy these. I wouldn't be surprised if the new Guido was done to reflect his X97 appearance and be fudgeable for that line.
I could definitely see this. Wouldn't surprise me at all if the rumored Havok and Polaris rerelease is actually done in X97 style. Sad thing is, they'd likely rope me in with such a set, as the bodies the original releases were on have aged poorly.
So, i bought six of the X-Factor Madrox and five of the green suit Madrox and I can't imagine buying more at this point... I might buy one X-Factor investigations style Jamie though.
So YOU are the reason I never could find X-Factor Madrox!!
